Why are there so many for sale?

Appreciate everyone's input and personal experiences or observations. We really just wanted to make sure we weren't missing something. We've been reading up on DVC for a few months and when we found out about resale we wanted to move forward but we thought it was odd to see so many for sale. I guess in the end it made our decision easier because we know we can either sell the points to David's or sell the contract entirely if our vacation needs change in the future.

We wound up putting an offer on BLT that was accepted and we are in the ROFR process now. Wish us luck!
