Arent seasons jus that, seasons? Why do the deluxes differ from the mods and values?

Probably because each season brings a different level of traveler. Summer season is probably busy in each category. But when the kids go back to school, and in winter...I bet it's more singles and senior travelers staying at deluxes. Long weekends, Easter/Spring Break and fall school holidays probably bring more families to mods and values but not so many to the deluxes?

I don't really know what their method of determining it is....but I would assume it's something of that nature.

years ago we started out in deluxe and tried them all but AK and WL and then went to all the moderates and our favorite ther eis POR and the rest nice as well then we dedided to try all stars resorts and sstayed in sports/movies and music and they OK but buses so full there so went back to moderates POR and then POP opened and we went and tried it and love it over there it more spread out and the pools great they have three and the CM are so nic and most been there 5 years that that we know of and then the bus serivce is best on property bar none....rooms some smaller but fine for us and we just take that extra money and shop shop shop...

Funny to read your post as we could have written it as well, except that we HAVE stayed at AKL & VWL, but not Ft. Wilderness (hope to one day) and Grand Floridian (planning for 25th anniversary). I totally agree about POP and am wondering about AoA. Right now they will be jammed being the new kid on the block. I believe it is a long-needed resort for families with 2-4 younger children, or a teen, tween & younger. Not so much for families with more than 2 teens though. Great to have 2 full bathrooms, the kitchenette and a separate bedroom for adults. Might have been nice to have 2 beds in bedroom though.

We've yet to stay Moderate or Deluxe.....maybe one day when the kids are older or grown. The kids would much rather stay at POP than somewhere like the Poly or Contemporary though.....they love the bright colors and 'funky' decades LOL

I have to say we love it too.....it's relaxed and our wacky style fits right it. I don't know that we'd fit in at one of the fancier resorts. And our matching shirts, tie dyes and other crazy apparel fit right in at POP too LOL

The value season changes don't really determine our travel though....since we home school we can go whenever it's the cheapest. So maybe one day we will check out the value season for a Deluxe :)
