Why are high school girls so nasty to one another?

John, my heart goes out to your daughter. I've been through this with my daughter more times than you can imagine. My daughter actually couldn't wait to graduate. High school girls can be very mean. It''s all so cliqueous (sp). My daughter, Lauren, never was a follower, thank goodness, but she definitely was ostracized many a time for it. I'm actually glad those high school years are over.
