Whose Name did your PIN Postcard or Email come in???

I have gotten numerous PIN cards over the last few years. They have all came in my MIL name! She went with us once three years ago. I have been every year and I never get this card in my name. SO I can't figure this out. I am still able to use the code (thank goodness!) because it is my address. I just can't figure out why I don't every get a card in my name. I am on all the sites and have all my preferences checked to receive mail and email! I even am a Disney Visa cardholder. ( I do get their promotions in my name!)


ANyways, just curious whose name your card comes in?

I'm gotten them in my grandson's name (he's only 13 now, but has been getting them since he was 6).

Gotten them in my adult son's name and he's never booked a room.

My DIL got one via a CM when making a reservation, so not sure if she actually had one.

I've had the same email address since 1998 and have never gotten one, but am on the mailing list for everything, from DVC, DDE, AP, former CM, disneyshopping and get emails from ALL of them (except the CM one), also Disney Visa and I get the Disney insider online and Mickey monitor via mail. I update my Disney profile regularly and have been to WDW more than 60 times. Even my last reservation confirmation came via email, plus everytime I talk to a CM at CRO they verify my email address.

However, I'm still curious what the snail mail version looked like, because someone recently said it was a big red envelope and we threw away a big red envelope the other day and now am wondering if that was it?

My son got the 30% off postcard the other day at our address which looks like a suitcase.

My card is Black and Red and White. It did not come in an envelope, just a large postcard that opens up and has a spin wheel in the middle. This has all the different dates on it that the 40% off is good for.

If any of the "target" weeks were within any of my planned trips I would call. So far we have trips planned for:

Feb. 3-9
April 28-May 11
Aug 15-24
Oct. 14-26

None of my time are within the timeframes listed. I did consider checking on my Aug. 15-24 dates, but am holding out for the free dining. The others are are DVC trips with the possibility of an extra arrival day via a discount, but we are also AP holders, so we're only talking a few extra days.

If your February trip is not DVC then you can check on that. The postcard says now through Feb 7th. Since your dates fall before the last date you would get the discount for the whole stay. Unless of course this reservation is all DVC! People have been reporting that if they check in on one of those dates they will get the whole trip discounted. Your Aug dates don't start before the dates listed (Aug21-Oct 6). So you probably should hold out for free dining! Of course you could use this code and then if free dining comes out, change it!

I got the same one on friday this week...it came with an ex BF first name and my last name and address! go figure! but I was able to use it because it was my last name and address and phone number on it! I got the AKL for 159 a night in May!! I am happy

OK When in May. I am going to be mad if you got to use it earlier than May 28!!!! I tried for three days to use my wonderful code for a Mid may trip!!! Of course, I booked for November anyways, but still!!!

no, I was going May 25th and had the airline tix...but it was well worth it to me to change t May 28th! Jetblue did not charge me ANYTHING to change my tix! So I am going May 28th...I save over 1400 bucks! worth the 3 day wait

I received my "snail mail" addressed to my mom. She went once with us back in 2005. Unfortunately, I think the more you go - the less likely you are to receive one.

Now I just have to figure a way to work this code into an "unplanned" trip!
