Johnny LOVED the Pirate Ship at Stormalong Bay even though it was under refurb and we couldn’t really get the full effect. He insists we stay there in the future! LOL!!



My son said the same thing when we were there in 2006.

Hey everyone!!!! We're back! We had an amazing time!!!

I was going to finish the January trip report last Sunday so it was done before we left but with the board down I never got it up! I have it all written out in word and just need to copy and paste and add the pictures!! I'll be back later to do that!

Then I'm going to start a new TR for this trip!

Day 9

We woke up relatively early and headed to Roaring Forks for breakfast! Then we were off to MK!

We got literally right as the park opened. We stepped off the boat and the canons of confetti fired!

First thing first, we headed to Fantasyland! Johnny was dying to ride Peter Pan so we headed there first! We walked right on! I know some people don’t care for this ride and think the usual lonnng waits are unreasonable but I love this ride! I don’t know if it’s because Peter Pan is my all time favorite Disney movie or because the ride has a kind of nostalgic old school feel! I wouldn’t wait 90 minutes to ride it, but I don’t think I’d wait 90 minutes to ride any ride! If you can do it right and get a fastpass or go early you have it made!

Then it was off to IASW! I took some pictures this trip around the world!!









No, I didn’t use a flash! I would NEVER!

Then it was off to make the rest of the rounds in Fantasyland!

We did PhilHarMagic, Snow White and Pooh!

Then it was off to Toontown!!

Johnny and I rode the Barnstormer, which he loves, even though I swear it’s the quickest ride in all of WDW! Next the kiddos took a play break in the playground!!! They must have played in there for an hour!!

Soon it was time for DH and Ryan to head out! They were going back to the room to watch the Giants game! The big kiddos and I weren’t going to miss that amount of time from all the action so we stayed put!

First we headed into Mickey’s house to see the big Mouse himself! We waited maybe 10 minutes and then were escorted in! Much to our surprise and delight Minnie was with him too!!!!



After our pictures were taken we decided to head to over and get our faces painted!!! Yes, I got mine done too!

Then it was time take a spin on the tea cups! Oh my!

Then it was lunchtime! Cosmic Rays here we come! The kiddos had hot dogs and I don’t remember what I had! Opps!!!

Then it was time to head over to Adventureland!! But first we stopped to get a terrible photopass picture taken I didn't even savethe first one it was so bad! But this one is cute!



We climbed the treehouse first! I really don’t get this one! I remember going up in it when I was kid but I really think it’s just a waste of space! Then it was off to fly a magic carpet!!

After our carpet ridewe spotted Aladdin himself so made a quick trip over to say hi!



Then I made the Mommy decision of taking the kiddos back to the room so I could pack up!!! After a quick boat ride we were back at WL!

Packing up was easy because I had been making my best effort to keep on top of putting away the dirty clothes and assorted stuff all week. Shortly after the Giants lost we headed back to MK.

Soon we were walking up Main Street again! It was a beautiful evening!!!!

We stopped at Casey’s and ate some hot dogs and fries for dinner!

Then we were on our way again!


DH being silly!

First stop Pixie Hollow! DD was dying to meet Tink and earlier in the day the posted wait was hour and a half! So we headed to Toontown! The posted wait was 20 minutes! Yippeee!!!

We got on line and waited!

Then we waited some more….


And some more……

And some more….

An hour later people online were starting it get really, really pissed. Someone asked what was going on and the answer was “There’s something special inside!” Ok, but all the character meet and greets have something special inside. For this we had better be getting something free! Had it not been for the fact that DD really wanted to meet Tink up close and personal we would have gotten off the line!

Finally after an hour and fifteen minutes we get to go in with a group of about 5 other people. We get to the door and expect to see Tink and her Fairy friends on the other side. Do you suppose we did?

Nope!!!

Another waiting area! No joke!!!!

We waited in that area for about another 20 minutes!!!!!

Then finally we were escorted into Fairy Hollow!!! We got to meet Tink and her Fairy friends!!! They were all wonderful and lovely!!! The kiddos really enjoyed meeting them!









The thing was we had waited like an hour and 40 minutes to meet them and were in Fairy Hollow for less than 10 minutes! UGUGHGH!!!!!​

By the time we left Fairy Hollow we decided to go grab a spot for Wishes!

We sat right in front of the castle to the right hand side.

I had planned on recording the whole thing on video but we were so close I could pull out far enough on the camera to get it!

But, I did get some pictures! They came out awesome if I do say so myself! I love my camera!!!

































After Wishes we decided to grab some ice cream at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and head out. DD freaked out and cried the whole time we sat on Main Street and ate the ice cream! Poor kiddo didn’t want to leave WDW!! A very rude man gave me a dirty look and I said “what, you’ve never seen a kid cry?! She doesn’t want to go home tomorrow!”


We bid farewell to MK and headed back to WL!!!



The next morning we were up very, very early and out to the ME stop before the sun! We were off to the airport, on the plane and home before we could even blink an eye!

We were sad to be home but happy too! It had been a long vacation! our longest ever! We knew we'd be back soon, Mommy and Daddy sooner then the kiddos, and we knew that the magic was alive and well at WDW and inside of us!! Mickey is right when he says "See ya real soon!!" ​

I know! I can't believe I finally finished! DH keeps saying "YUpur not done yet?" Thanks for coming along fro the ride! The March TR will be up soon, I'm going to start a brand new one in a different thread!

I was so excited with how well my pictures came out! I love my new camera!

Dorothy was sooooo upset!! She's cried before but she cried hard and for a longtime! Poor kiddo! You should have seen her sitting in the curb on Main Street licking her ice cream cone and crying at the same time!

Umm there is nothing wrong with your DD sitting on the sidewalk crying becasue she didnt want to go home...that will probably be me in 3 weeks and I'm supposed to be an adult!

Your pictures of Wishes came out SOOO good!! They're so clear, some of the best I've seen.

My new camera takes incredible pictures! Plus, I learned awhile ago not to use the fireworks setting on the camera. The pictures only come out good with that if you have a tripod!

It was so hard to tell DD not to be upset!! I was sad to leave too!! LOL!!

The wait was crazy!!! But the fairies were cute and super nice! Dorothy really wanted to meet Tink so we waited!!
