Our Beagle was named Barney. He was a great dog.

My Beagle passed away this year Her name was Polly Pockets she was 8 and died of cancer. My parents have a beagle named Rocky and he is a mess!!!!!

Our male beagle also died of cancer at 8. His name was Rascal and he really was one!!

My mom has a beagle - one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known. Great with kids, lovable, spoiled rotten, but a TERRIBLE barker. She does the traditional Beagle Bay-bark; the one that, when unexpected, can almost stop your heart.

Her name is Madeleine; alternately Maddie, Maddie-Moo, or Moo-Moo.

Thank you all for replying so far and to those who have lost their beloved pet, I am truly sorry for your loss. We have gone through that with our pets over the years and I know what you were/are feeling.

You all certainly have some interesting names for your Beagles. I think I will compile a list and present it to my family for a vote. Of course, nothing will make the list if I can't picture myself calling him out loud with that name!

Oh my goodness, what a precious pup!!! Our's is Sadie. She had the sweetest yodel when we brought her home 12 1/2 years ago. Of course that quickly turned into an obnoxious bay but she is a wonderful dog.
