Whose got a Beagle and what's his name? NEW Pictures page 7!!!

I say what's "his" name because the beagle we are almost adopting is a boy. Some names can be for either one, so feel free to mention your beagle here. We are fostering him right now, but we are falling in love so he might be a keeper. His sister was already sent to the shelter and adopted, so we want to be sure to get him if we can.
The name he came with was Graham Cracker, which we changed to Teddy Graham and called him Graham. I'm not fond of Teddy or Graham - it just doesn't seem to fit him. If I could figure out how to post a picture, I'd put one on here. He's only 8 weeks old and we've had him for a month.

We have a beagle girl named Molly Anne.. She gets Molly, MollyDog and HUSH for NickNames. Hush came from my 2 yo daughter at the time b/c we would "hollar" at Molly to Hush when she would give her beagle yowl!! So apparently DD thought her name was Hush!!!

We have two- Remi (short for Remington) and Shelby. Both are girls. We had a Winnie (short for Winchester) but she passed away a couple of years ago. I met an 8 week old beagle mix puppy the other day w/o a name. I thought he looked like a Charlie.

Ours is a boy and his name is Copper (from Fox and Hound). Sometimes we call him Bopper, not sure why, just sounds like Copper.

Warning, once a beagle gets in your heart, it's hard to let them go. I've never had a dog I've loved as much as our beagle. They have some not so great traits: baying and running away (we've had our whole neighborhood out looking for him before, even people we didn't know), but I wouldn't trade this dog for anything in the world (although, I feel that way about our two other dogs too, both of them are mutts).

My Beagle passed away this year Her name was Polly Pockets she was 8 and died of cancer. My parents have a beagle named Rocky and he is a mess!!!!!

We have 2 Beagles.

Lou is our male. We also call him Dewey.

Daisy came to us a 4-months old with her name. I tinkered with a it a bit and renamed her MISS Daisy. Since she is a Southern Belle and all, LOL. She is a disgusting dog - eats poo and burps and tries to drink out of the toilet.

Ours is a beagle mix and his name is Brent--after Brent Mydland of the Grateful Dead. Hubby tried getting us to name him Red. Boys wanted nothing to do with it. (He looks like a beagle but does not have the markings/coloring of a beagle. He is red.)

Cousins had one named Blue.

I like names that are kind of stereotypically country or Western for hound dogs. I know a coon hound named Reuben and a basset named Patsy, and I think they are both pretty perfect.

Names I'd consider for a beagle might be Huck, Jethro, Levi, Beau, Hank, Wyatt . . . I suspect Huck short for Huckleberry would win though -- wouldn't that be adorable on a dog?

I have 2 beagles. My beagles names are Molly and Tobey. Molly was named after Ron's mom in Harry Potter. The vet named Tobey before we adopted him.

I don't have one but my neighbor has 2...Shiloh and Marty. They are cute, but when they get going or get excited about something, it sounds like a fox hunt out there!
