Just curious how many of us are planning on being there on the actual Anniversary July 17, 2005?

My DD, My Parents and Myself will be there July 15 - July 18, 2005.

We will be there for sure!!! With all the things happening that week, how could we miss it. We are going to the NFFC convention the week before and hopefully do any special events at DL that week. We would not miss the 17th for the world! lol :earsboy:

my family will be there from the 13 till the 23. not looking forward to the heat but really looking forward to the party. staying at the GC. Derinda

We will be leaving right before.... we will be there from about the 12-16...oh well!..........P

I'll be there the 15-19! We have quite a large group from another board roaring and ready!! We'll be at Park Inn.

Mum and I will be there from the 16th - 22nd. We are staying at the Carousel before going on the Magic on the 23rd.

Besides everything that will go on during the 18 months of the celebration, does anyone know if anything special actually happens just that first week? :disrocks:

Yes, I'll be there (as my sig timer says)! July 16-20, staying at
the Grand Californian. Woo hoo!

The actual celebration kicks off in May (05-05-05) so everything will actually start then but July 17th is DL's actual Birthday

We have reservations at DL Hotel for both the 05-05-05 kickoff and the 15-19th of July. But I was wondering - I thought I heard that the 15-17th might be a hard ticketed event. Has anyone heard this? We are AP holders and I don't want to be caught off guard. Thanks

OH MY GOSH!! Don't say that!! Do you mean some sort of special ticket??? :earseek: We have a trip planned and will be buy 3 day park hoppers. This is our one and (for the foreseeable future) only chance to visit DL (I'm 40 and haven't made it there yet!). Don't say that we might need some sort of special ticket to be there :sad1: I won't panic about this until/unless I hear more~!.............P

If there is a hard ticket even over the 17th, it'd would probably be "after hours" type of event. I know there has been alot of hope for a 50 hour part for the 50th but not concrete information yet. I would think that if there is a hard ticket event they will announce it over the kick off weekend.

With all the packages that have been sold there is no way they can shut the gates to everyone for 2+ days. Like was mentioned if there is anything "special" it would be for between midnight & 8am. If they do do it, I am guessing that I will have to pay the extra just so I can say I did it.

Rumor has it that there will be a special event July 15-17, but no details have been announced yet... Disney's playing it very close to the vest on this one. Here's the Link to what little info they've released about it so far.

I've also heard that the order of priority for entry will be Resort Guests, Package Guests, APs, and day ticket holders (take that with a grain of salt, since Disney hasn't released anything official or even any hard rumors).

And, yes, I and my family will be there on the 17th. We're cruising from the 9th to the 16th & then get a week in DL.

Okay so I *love* the logo on that site...

I also don't care what happens as long as its under 2000 bucks- Unless medical science makes huge leaps and bounds I wont be around for the 100th so this is the biggest I'll see :)
