Whose going back to Disney World? That's right we are!

Kadence loves Wizard of OZ so much, that her 6th b-day last year was a Wizard of Oz theme, and her Grandma( who spoils!) got her all the collectable 50th anniversay dolls. Kadence has them all set on a shelf in her room, but has the witch hidden behind the Lion & Scarecrow. She says the witch is scary at night, but not during the day :upsidedow

Awesom!

Love the Santa picture as well.

Today is our 45 day mark! I want it to just get here already, but then last for a long time. I'm not asking for much, am I:lmao:

I know that feeling. It will be a great trip though, no matter how fast it goes. But live in the moment and that helps! :thumbsup2

I came over from Lisas TR and have spent the last hour reading it and I have to say it looks good so far. I'm ready for it to come for you.

Hi:wave2: welcome, I'm ready too! I'm just now working on an update, Magic Kingdom- 2 Days, 2 early ADR's :scared1: and hopefully 2 rope drops!

I have been reading some PTR's and quite a few are doing pick-a-pearl. It seems like a neat idea, so after looking into it, I went to ebay and bought them each a pearl cage in the shape of Cinderella's carriage. (I'll post pics this weekend.) This will be a Christmas present, along with a certificate I made letting them know that they can each pick a pearl at Epcot.
Earlier this year Samantha told me she would like to have something special for just her and Kadence, like sister necklaces. When the pearl idea came along I thought perfect:thumbsup2 Something they can both have, that also is a suovineer (sp?)from our Disney trip.

I wanted to print off a countdown calendar today, (the 22nd is 30 days:yay:), but alas, the printer is flashing no ink:headache:, so off to the store I go on Saturday. I hope it's not too crazy. Maybe if I go early it won't be so bad.

Day 8: Magic Kingdom (Jan. 28th)

Well I sure hope we got some good sleep the previous night, we have 7:30 am ADR’s at Chef Mickey’s!:scared1: Why so early? Will the family revolt? :confused3
So I picked an early ADR time because we normally get up early for work & school (DH @ 3:00am, Me @ 5:00am & kids @5:30-6:00am). I think we will be able to make rope drop, that’s the plan anyway. If not, that’s okay, we’ll be close. I subscribe to Touring Plans, although I know January isn’t the busiest time, I still like to have a guide to where I’m going. It worked really nicely our first trip, we deviated from it a bit, but still it keep us from wandering aimlessly.
I have seen the refurbish list for January, and beside Splash Mountain being down, (not too big of a deal for us) The Liberty Square Riverboat is going down for refurb on the 29th, so this is our chance. We missed it last time, due to trying to get a good spot for the parade.

We had heard from some people that right in front of the castle was the best spot, and don’t get me wrong it was, but dang, it was crowed and people were pushy and rude. I had my butt on the curb 2 hours before hand and I swear people were pushing their kids and selves in front of us 10 mins before it was to start. Then giving me a look like I was the dumb one!
I now know that there are other spots that are much quieter and less crowed.

We’ll roam the park, catch the parade, and then on to 5:25 pm ADR’s at The Plaza. I got a couple of recommendations for this place, I hope it’s good. I checked out the menu on allears, and I’m thinking Rueben sandwich for me! After that we’ll roam some more and decide if we want to catch Wishes or head out for a good night’s sleep, which is important , cuz we have another early ADR in the morning of

DAY 9: Magic Kingdom (Jan. 29th)

Our ADR is at The Crystal Palace @ 8:05am. I would like to hope to get in the park a bit earlier, so we can get some nice pictures of us with a nearly empty Main St & Castle. We had an early ADR in the Castle, in 2009, and we got in 45 mins before. We have tons of pics with not a soul but us in them.
I know we won’t make rope drop, but who doesn’t want to hang with Pooh & friends? I think Eyeore is just the cutest! After our meal is done, we’ll finish touring the rest of the park and redo things that we want. Spectomagic is this night so that’s a plan, and then Wishes. With this being out last day, I’m sure we’ll stay till they kick us out. :sad1:

Next morning, we can sleep in till about 8, and then have to get ready to get picked up by the car service and to the airport by 9:45. Back to Wisconsin, and cold weather,:sad2: work, school, and a surprise which I’ll post about later. Mainly, because it’s still getting finalized.

I really hope it goes by slowly, and we can just enjoy the moment while we’re there.

It will be a little sad, as it’s going to be our last trip as a family with 2 kids. With my DD Samantha graduating High School, and going away to college in the fall. Her schedule isn’t going to be as flexible as it was in the past.

Okay, before I start bawling.:rolleyes1

I’m working on getting some pics up, maybe tomorrow. Things are busy here as I’m sure they are for everyone with Christmas and family plans.

Night:wave2:

Jan 28th is my sons b-day. He wil lbe 22. Awfully old for a 25 year old mom. LOL!

Is Spectro back then? I thought it was still going to be the MSEP next year...but I would rather have spectro any day!

Here is the pearl cage I got for Samantha & Kadence. I hope they like them. They will be able to wear them almost the whole trip. They will be picking their pearl on our 2nd full day.

Kadence Had her Christmas program today, and she was one of the banner holders for the song Christmas Greetings. She was so happy to be in front of everyone!

I finally got some pictures of Kadence. Samantha got called into work, so none of her. There's always Christmas morning!

Here a shot of our Elf on a Shelf. He has been everywhere in our home including the bathroom! Kadence did say that was a bit creepy. LOL

It snowed here last weekend. Okay, that was a bit of an understatment. It was called Blizzard Adien(the local news names them) and we could hardly get the front door open. DH & Kadence went out the garage and came around.I should mention, that the front door is 4 feet off the ground. Kadnce is standing on the steps!

OMG. Thats alot of snow. Glad it hasn't hit us yet liek that. It can stay away for all I care.
Love the Christmas photos. I lover her dress too!

Well, we had a wonderful Christmas, very relaxing and no rushing for the first time since my DH & I married. Let me do a quick explanation;

John's mom always insited the we do Christmas by her on Christmas day. We usually had to to be there for breakfast.:sad1: Well that dosent always go well with a young childs sleeping pattern or wanting to actually spend some time with her toys after opening them (My Samantha was 3 when John and I married) So we had to rush Sam through her presents and get to grandmas. Then Kadence came along and the same rush to open and leave.
It's been that way for the last 13 years, untill my DH's brother got divorced. Her judgement states he doesn't have his 2 girls until 10:00am. Which means we had to be there @ noon. No Rush this year:banana:. It was very nice to just open and let Kadence play. I hope this can be the new pattern

Anyways, The girls didn't get much, with Disney just a few weeks away. Grandma did go over board as usual. We have enough ZhuZhu pets and a huge playset with tunnels and slides. Where am I gonna put this stuff? As soon as I can get the deiting done on my pics, I'll post a few.

My suprise that I mentioned a post or so ago, I'm getting our (one and only) bathroom remodeled while we are at Disney:woohoo:I am sooooo happy. It's something that we've wanted to have done for a while now, but with only having one:headache:it didn't seem it would ever get done.
A friend of ours whose also a contractor said he'd do it, with winter being slower for him. I told him it would be almost impossible, with what I want done ( total re-do of the shower w/ tile, rip up the foor and tile it, and all new fixtures and fix a leak I know is there in the wall from old plumbing)

It would mean a closed bathroom and that just can't happen with us there. Well the opportunity came to us with him having no jobs at the end of January, and since we trust him in our home, our bathroom is getting done. I can't wait:cloud9:

My sister's all wanted me to update on facebook everyday, for them to see what we were up to everyday in Disney, and I really didn't want to let the world know we were gone, but now with our bathroom being done, our friend will be there everyday, I'll be fine with the updates for them. Samantha has an web-enabled phone so she be helping me post.

I'm going wrap up some small details tomorrow. I have to call the parking place close to the airport and reserve a spot, I have to call our TA to see to a few details like our car service and see if our documets have come yet. I am so happy to be really getting ready to go!

Carey

I'll send you my name to add me to facebook...of you want.
How wonderful that the bathroom is getting done.

The tree is down, and the suitcases are up! :rotfl:

I got my Disney documents on Monday :yay: I seems more real now that I have my little booklet in hand:lmao: I have finished wrapping up the little details, ( parking, dividing up tips in envolpes, and getting gift cards in order). I have to fill my travel bottles with shampoo/cond/etc. I need to get some ink for the printer to print out my touring plans, meal credits cards, and I have to make a couple shirts.

My goal today is dig out some of the girls summer clothes, hopefully it will be great weather, so shorts, skirts, and shorts sleves will be comfortable. I mean coming from WI, I want to leave cold weather behind!

Can you believe it actually rained in Indiana last night? The end of december and it rained!!! I prefer snow, and on top of that we had a 3.8 earthquake, wich I didn't wake up from. I think florida would be okay this time of year. Probably in the 50s in the morning and 60s in the afternoon. you should be good.

It rain here all day today, and tomorrow it supposed to be heavy fog. I just hope the travel restricting weather isn't happening on our departure day:eek:

Wow, look at all the snow you guys got! Are you sure you're in the same state as us? LOL. With the rain we had yesterday we have literally NO snow on the ground at all anymore. We were supposed to get snow on Christmas...yeah, that never happened. Seems more like spring to me. haha

Only 3 weeks left for you guys...not too long to wait now.

I just did t-shirts last nioght...the easy way. I got a 2011 design and then uploaded it to Vistaprint and ordered 2, 1 for Skip and 1 for me. I know Claire won't wear them, so I don't bother making her any. She's all about the princess dresses, and other sundress type outfits. I also made a magnat with her name on it. Actually it comes in a pakc of 10, so she will love that. I am thinking of doing some other design too. Gotta find something I like.
I also made a photoflip book(it was free) but I loaded autograph pages. It only will have room for 19 signatures, so we'll buy a regular book too, but I thought it would be fun for some of the signatures. It was going to cost to add pages, and I just didn't think it would pay off in the end, when I can get a book at Disney for like $7.
I need to find a retractable sharpie now for it.
What kind of shirts are you making? Where did you get the design? I love looking at peoples homemade shirts.

Our snowbanks have decreased a lot due to the the rain the last 2 days. The bad thing is, tonight the temp is supposed to drop and all that rain going is freeze over. My DH has to Dj a party about an hour away until 3am:scared1: Hopefully all the drivers out there will be safe.

I think these last couple weeks may be the longest!

I was thinking about making an atuograph book for Kadence just for Akershus (I found some really cute templates here) I still may and just put then in a disney scrapbook I got for free with proofs of pruchase from Jif Peanut Butter.:thumbsup2

She still has room on one of her books (out of 3) & pen from our last trip, so we will bring that and mostly likely get her more as she needs them.

Kadence want me to make her a shirt, it has Thumper and friends on it and says" but, I don't want to go home". She wants to wear it on the last day. My DH wants a couplke shirts, P & F and a pirate mickey one. I will post photos. All the disigns I found here . The people here are awesomely createive! :worship:

Kadence plans to wear her Cinderella dress when we go to Akershus. I will have to carry a change of clothes that day, things get itchy and we all suffer:headache: She likes to wear dresses to, but I don't know what the weather is going to be yet. I'm praying hard for at least 65-70 degrees.
I'm also thinking of buying this really cute dress I found on ebay last night. Hawaiian theme. She can wear it Ohana & Seaworld. Maybe I can sneak it through:tiptoe: LOL
