Whose going back to Disney World? That's right we are!

I submitted a photo to Disney's memory site. I don't know how to do a link, but will attempt to learn :teacher:
The title is " a perfect 1st day" I found it by searching the title.

I'm trying to get an itinerary going, and will soon post by days. Have a great weekend!

I scored :cheer2: an ADR at O'hanas for breakfast, 7:30am!! I was suprised, I must have had some major luck on my side. so here are my revised ADR's:

1/21-House of Blues-4:30 pm (we’re paying OOP, DH wants)
1/22-Tusker House w/ Donald-8:00 am
1/23-Garden Grill-4:00pm
1/24-Akershus-9:15 am
1/25-O'Hana's - 7:30 am, then SeaWorld
1/26-50’s Prime Time-11:00am
1/26-Planet Hollywood-5:00 pm (This may change, DH leaning toward T-Rex, since this will be oop too.)
1/27- Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic Pkg.)-3:30pm
1/28-Chef Mickeys-7:30 am
1/28- The Plaza-5:25 pm
1/29-The Crystal Palace-8:00 am.

I was at wal-mart the other day, and found some really cute t-shirts for me. One is Chip& Dale and the other is Mickey. $6.00! :thumbsup2

I stopped at the TA yesterday, and put down some money down on the trip. Final pay date is 12/6 and I'm gonna wait till we get close, just in case something more amazing comes along.

I'm going to start outlining my days soon. I think writing them up in Word then transfering them over amy give me something to do at work when it gets alittle slow :rolleyes1

Woohoo for getting an ADR at Ohana! Your ADR list looks super yummy and, of course, I'm looking at it while waiting for my lunch hours.:rolleyes1

I know, I was so suprised, I've had people tell me it was supoosed to be closed for refurb, but they musy have opened a few days up.
I try not to look at the food pic thread before lunch or I'd be in alot of trouble:lmao:

OMG!!

We MAY, and I say may very loosely, but...................................................

We MAY be going to Disney next September!:yay::woohoo::cheer2:

Hubby is the driving force of this thought:thumbsup2, and it we're thinking that this will be a SUPRISE for our DD(6).

I'm not breathing,,,,,,, oh! I have to go look at availabilitity.:dance3:

Later,

Well, we asked my MIL if she consider coming with us, and she said she'd think about it. :thumbsup2
She has had a alot on her plate the last couple years. In October 2009,my very useless BIL had split from his very useless wife, and moved himeslf and his 2 little girls (ages 6&7) into my in-laws house. My MIL has taken upon herself to care for the girls like they are hers, and meanwhile has paid for a very expensive divorce for my BIL. She has spent over &10,000 in lawyer fees and various other things to ensure the girls are safe and well taken care of.
Most of the time my DD(6) doesn't get alot of one on one "gramma" time, because of this. I think it would be great if she could do this with Kadence.:cutie:

If we go, it will be only for 4 days, so we thought we'd think about staying at POP,( which I've wanted to check out someday anyway) we'd get free dining, so that would be great.

I'm thinking about putting down a deposit, and then we can always cancel or modify later. Oh the bane of a planner, a maybe trip!:)

Carey

WOW, I know what you're thinking, nothing for a long time, then bam! 3 posts in about one day. What can I say? I'm a streaker.........;) really now, nobody whats to see that:scared1:

DAY ONE: Arrival day

We are flying out of Milwaukee @ 7:30 am. We need to be at the airport 90 minutes ahead of flight, which brings us to 6:00am. We live 2 1/2 hours north of the airport, so we must leave home at 3am to make sure we get to the car park place, transfer our bags over to the shuttle to the airport. Which means I must wake up at 2:00am to shower (fellow travelers will thank me) and get ready.
Sleep? I may not.:confused3
My older DD will do what she did last trip. Shower night before, and wear sweats to bed so she, without actually waking up, will float into the car and conitnue to sleep untill 5 minutes before our location to complain her hair looks awful:scared1: and she needs to change into her regular clothes!

My younger DD will also do same as last time. I put her clothes in her carry-on and let her wear her jammies into the airport. I'll change her after we are settled in our gate. It's is nice that we can just transfer her over to the truck while she's sleeping.

We should arrive into Orlando at 11:15, and then off to find our ride. We are having a towncar pick us up and that includes a stop at a grocery store before heading on to Port Orleans Riverside:cheer2: After check-in, (i'm hoping our room is ready) we are going to hop aboard the wonderful boats and float our way down to Downtown Disney. My DH and I are looking forward to that. It's sooo relaxing.:cloud9:
We'll have until a little before 4:30 to make our way to the House of Blues for our first ADR. After Dinner, I really don't have any other plans. If it's warm maybe swim, or just relax. I'm sure we're going to be tired from the early morning and all the excitment of traveling.

Up next: First full day, Animal Kingdom!

I'm joining in too!
First off, can we trade husbands for a few weeks? LOL!

For pictures, the easiest way to do it is to load them on photobucket and then copy the link that starts with IMG and post it right to the thread. Super easy.

I would love to see your DD's Senior pictures. I took my DD's last year, and though they weren't professional, they did turn out pretty decent and we were both happy with them. I know all too well about the complaints of hair and bumming around clothes. Yet when she goes to scholl she looks worse than I do rolling out of bed some days. LOL! I guess it all depends on where you are going.

I love your first day. Is ther an option for you to go the night before to the airport area and stay at a cheap hotel there. It may allow a little extra sleep then.
We are having the airport fight right now, and ironically I origionally wanted to fly at one of two that are furhter away, but now it looks like if we would fly locally, I can stay for as long as I wanted to. If we go to Detroit or Columbus, then we may cut the trip a day or 2, because my DH doesn't want to stay that whole time :rolleyes1. I priced them all out though and the local one is actually about the best deal. BUT we have to rent a car then too. If we fly out of Detroit, it wil lbe more, but he won't be happy with the flights. The nonstop departure is really early in the morning, and the return is late in the evening, so we are only getting home about 12 hours earlier....most of that time will be sleeping anyways, it's not like he can run out the door and work then. :rotfl:

Again, can we trade DH's for a few weeks.

I sure hope that your mother-in-law decides to go with you to Disney. It sounds like she needs a break and it would be nice to have some one-on-one time with her.

I like the sounds of your day one plans. Well, except for the having to get up so darned early. But, it does mean that you'll arrive at Disney that much earlier in the day.

I'm joining in too!:wave2:
First off, can we trade husbands for a few weeks? LOL! I'll let you borrow him, if I gets you to Disney:thumbsup2

I think I did a good job, and photography is a hobby I'd like to do more of, but like anything else, life gets in the way sometimes

We are going to find out if my MIL will come to Disney in Sept on Friday. We are pretty much decide, but she would make it a for sure thing.

My DD senior pictures. I took them myself on the grounds of a manison and gardens.People use the place for outdoor weddings and such.

YIKES, leaving at 3 am to get to the airport?!?! We have taken those 7:30 am flights a lot but forunately we only live maybe half an hour away from Mitchell so we only have to leave around 5:00. LOL!

Oh I love all of the pictures! Your daughters are beautiful!

I didn't pay the exorbitant cost for senior portraits either. We went to a local park and took tons of pictures. That was back in the day when digital camera cost tons of money and I had a 35mm camera. Even with the cost of the film and developing, it wasn't near what the cost of a professional photographer.

Your pictures are wonderful! How did you do the cube and the first one with the reflection

Thank-you, :) A friend of my DD paid 2,000 for her total pic package:eek: I can find alot of other things to spend that kind of money on......Disney:thumbsup2

Thank-you, I took about 200 that day, and we had a hard time picking for the yearbook. I use a editor called Photoscape. It's a free download and it works really well. I also use picnik. I like a deal and when I can find it free:yay:

Well, we got our answer from my MIL.:sad2: She doesn't feel like she can leave her house while my BIL and Grandkids are there. Basicly, My FIL and BIL do not get along. My MIL is the smoother and, I think she is the only reason they haven't come to blows yet.
To make a long story short, the only reason my BIL got primary custody of his kids is because my MIL and her stable home. In the final divorce papers, my BIL has to live with my in-laws for at least another year while undergoing counsiling and parenting classes. If he moves out the girls will go to a 50/50 split with their Mom and my BIL, and he will lose his state insurance and he will have to pay child support. He currently works part-time as a fry cook in a truck stop for minuium wage, and has no drive to do any better.

I told my DH that I'm sad that thats how her decsion turned out, but really I'm MAD:headache: It sucks that she has to be in this sitution. It sucks that by her having to focus so much on the 2 girls there, my younger DD gest little inertaction with just her grandparents. Sure I could hve go there when the other kids were gone, but then thats my In-laws down time. I would help raise my grandkids if I had to, but this is not what should be happening at this point in their lives. I know my FIL is at his breaking point, and my MIL would work herself dead before quiting.

Okay enough of my rant.

We are going to discuss tonight about maybe still going in Sept or just letting the idea go. I figured it out, and with flight ( if we got a good deal) we could do it for about $1,400. Anyway, we'll see. I've still have January and I cannot wait!
