Whose done with Chirstmas shopping

I just got done wrapping everything from my shopping trip this morning and was wondering if anyone else has finished yet.

I'm jealous! I am usually done by August every year-September at the latest, but this year, I'm not even half way done yet!! I've bought a few things for my kids, but that's it!!

I'm sure that you will get it done. Since I'm visiting my parents in Wisconsin and I live in Chicago, I always go out Friday morning and get everything done so I won't have to bring anything withme when I come back for Christmas.

I'm set for all the adults. I had great luck 3 Saturdays ago -- every store I hit had something for someone on my list! I just need to get money holders for the teens (I don't even try to shop for them) and toys for 2 kiddies. I usually go to TRU after church on a Sunday (they open at 11, so I get there right at opening -- but not this weekend!) and get those 2 out of the way. Oh, and the 2 men on my list are getting bottles of something -- wine or liqueur.

I'm pretty much done. I have one thing to order from Amazon and that's it.

I havent even started yet and that is just not like me at all. Im normally done before this. The hurricane and its aftermath and loss of salary really messed me up this year. Im not going to stress about it though. We have a Parents Night Out in the begining of December through church and we will just do our shopping that night. I only have my kids to buy for because I give the neices and nephews gift certificates. Dh and I do not exchange gifts anymore. I already know what I want to get the kids and where to get it so Im pretty much all set. Just have to actually go do it LOL!

I'm done with the shopping, but haven't finished the wrapping yet.

Of course, now that I'm "done", I keep finding "just one more thing". Today, I stopped in at Walmart while I was waiting for DDs prescription for bronchitis to be filled and picked up the Aquadoodle for the kids (shared gift).

Dh and I do not exchange gifts anymore.

I'm so glad to see someone else who does this! We havent' exchanged gifts in years, and when it comes up in conversation most people go " " . We always go on a trip in Dec/Jan, which is our combined Xmas and anniversary (Jan. 7) celebration, and one in the summer for our birthdays (mine's in July and his is in August). On our birthdays we usually go out for a special dinner too. Works out much better for us than traditional presents!

DH is currently shopping for me online, which is making it difficult for me to sit here & DIS since he keeps cursing at the sites charging him shipping & I'm not allowed to turn around. He does know about coupon codes, but I guess some of the sites he's shopping from aren't offering any.

I finished wrapping a couple of days ago. Its a great feeling to be done, now I can enjoy the parts of the holiday I love!

I'm almost done, I have 3 things left to pick up, but I know what I'm getting for each person left. Everything I have so far is wrapped an hidden already.

Almost done; and everything I have is wrapped. I just need to get about 3 more items for my parents. Done with the kids, friends, neighbors, inlaws. DH and I aren't exchanging at Christmas since he will be leaving Iraq shortly after Christmas. I didn't see the sense in shipping him over stuff, when he will be packing up and leaving a week or two later. We'll celebrate plenty once he's home!
