I'd love to get DD the Littlest Pet Shop pets with VIPs.. wonder what my chances actually are? Anyone know if that will be offered online?

We just drove past on our way home from dinner with the family. It was 10:30 pm and the line went the length of TRU and along the entire length of the strip mall where TRU is located. I've been there in the past only a hour before opening and the line wasn't that long! One group even had some type of firepit going!

I'm so glad I have no reason to be there. I guess there is a good side to being broke. I'm planning to do some price matching at Walmart but not until a hour or two after opening.

Best buy had alot of people in line - most were in tents. It looked like they were all young males.

I just got back. Went at 10, quite a few people in line, but I was hoping not 100 and that not everyone would want a zhu zhu pet. When they came out to hand out tickets, they only had 35. Not even close. Nothing else I wanted bad enough to stand in line for another hour

I just got back too. Got there about 1120. I was within the first 150. Nice orderly line, a worker came around with tickets for ZhuZhu's, xbox 360's, ipod, ponies- I got an IPOD ticket. Well at 1145 people started grabbing carts while they waited in line, now mind you the line is a good 200+ strong, but still a rather orderly line. Well at 1157 or so, people who had been waiting in their cars swarmed the line from the middle and the left (the orderly line was on the right)- so there was pushing, shoving, yelling... I got it in, wanted a Star Wars ATTE- didn't have any that I could find so I took my IPOD ticket and left. If I don't get one at WM at 5, I'll take the ticket back later to see if I can still get it. Totally a waste of time!

I just got back from TRU's about 10 mins ago. My mom and i waited got there about 10:30 and we were about the 80th person on line..by the time midnight came, there was a very very long line. There were few cops there to make sure there were no problems,,they made announcements that there will be NO tolerance for cutting, pushing and shoving or else there will be issues to deal with..At around 11;45 the employees came out and gave out tickets for specific products which mom and i got for Itouch (we needed 2)..We got in at 12:01..i grabbed the Snow White DVD since i got a coupon for 5 bucks off, and a wii video game which cost 9.99 and got on short line to get the itouch's and off we went to home..It was very peaceful and the customers were great doing what they needed to do....no pushing or anything..The employees were organized and great!!! THANKS TRU"S!!!

DD & dear friends went on my behalf to get DD(6) the furreal pony. She has wanted the "Butterscotch" one since it came out, but we couldn never afford that. However, dd & friends couldn't get one. They didn't get a ticket and TRU ran out of the ponies. ...maybe next year.

I gave up on the TRU online. It was nothing I "needed" but was "extra". They gave me too much time to think about it when the sale did not start @12:01. So I will just save the money for something else

I've been back a while. It was a mess here - people were rude, crabby, etc. I didnt get the main thing I went for, but did get my son a Mini-IDog that he will love and a game he's been wanting - and, hey, the free crayons. So... it was a learning experience (learned to stay home...) And I'm home now.

I'm up late anyway but there was no way I'd be out in a store tonight. I did look around online but the same things I wanted were the same price at Walmart and they have free ship-to-store and for one thing I needed- 97 cent shipping, plus I used Ebates even though they don't have a huge rebate for Walmart. I did a little more shopping on Amazon and am headed to bed. I'm looking forward to Cyber-Monday but I have most of my shopping done. Now there's something to give thanks for!---Kathy

We were going to go to TRU, but when we drove by and saw the line and the chaotic parking situation, we kept right on going! We also stopped at Wal Mart for some people watching and we got to see a lot of people camped out around stuff. That was pretty funny! Then we went home and went to bed! Now I'm up for round 2!

I braved the store, got there about 10:00 and there were already about 75 people in front of me. By midnight there were a least 300 people in line. Even the police showed up with lights and sirens on. In side was a zoo, I got what I wanted but stood in line for almost 2 hours. Never again!!

I was there at 7AM..got everything I needed and no lines. The store was organized and there were plenty of people to help you.

Never again. We got there about 30 minutes prior to opening and counted over 700 people waiting. They opened and let 10 people in every 5 minutes so we ended up bailing then going back a few hours later.

we went. Got zhu zhus for the people in front of us and they got us the glow stations which made for a super easy swap. I got everything I wanted, we were in our car by 12:15 and in our house by 12:30. Line was around 400 deep when we left TRU and more than halfway down the strip mall. Insanity! The only reason we even waited in line (from 8:30pm! ) was for the Star Wars vehicle, the glow stations and Rose Petal cottage stuff. DH also got the last nintendo DS storage box too which was on our list. I couldn't believe how fast I was able to grab and go. They way they blocked off the sections of the store made it really easy and so many employees were around to direct you to what you wanted.

It was getting really ugly before opening though and the crowd control was not good. Police showed up at opening barely in time to help stop as many line crashers as possible. When we left there were 4 police cars blocking each direction in front of the store. I was glad to have waited it out instead of showing up at midnight and having to wait in line forever to get into an open store then hours to check out as well. It's a trade off either way but at least I got what I wanted after waiting instead of being disappointed.

I got to my TRU around 3:30. It was packed, but organized. I found everything I was looking for, but I wasn't shopping for anything major like those whatever hamsters or a DS. We did find out that they were holding some of the 5:00 doorbuster items back until just before 5:00. I wanted the Geotrax starter set, as did the couple in line in front of me. The DH stayed in line and the DW waited in the aisle to get a Geotrax set for them and for me. That was really nice! The line was loooong, but kept moving. Walmart, on the other hand, was a complete nightmare. TRU I will definitely do again next year.

We went, go there around 8:30 thanksgiving night and were first in line. Didn't have the thing we wanted most (zhu zhu accessories) but was able to get all the other small stuff on our TRU list. The line formed quick after we lined up, and it seemed to be never-ending. There was still a ling line a several hundred people deep when we were leaving the store with our purchases and heading to the next location.
