Whose been fishing at Ol' Man Island POR?

I think my kids would like to try this..Has anyone done this catch & release fishing with there kids? Is it worth it? ($13 for 1/2 hour) My kids are 9,6,& 4.

We went mid morning and didn't catch much but it was still a fun family thing to do. The CM there told us it's best to get there early in the morning and they are biting more then. The fish, not the CM's

My DH and DS5 really enjoyed fishing at POR. They got there when it opened (last May) and were told to be quiet so that they would catch some fish. The noisy child nearby caught a turtle. My son caught 5. Of course it was catch and release but Spencer was so proud to have caught some fish. It is worth the money...if just for the experience.
