but umm just for the record softball is wayyyy better than baseball

No way. I know blind people that could hit that glow in the dark beachball.

But all kidding aside, with the 60 foot distance from the pitcher's mound to home plate or whatever it is, it's really hard to hit those. Although, I hate watching softball players hit. God the form is just terrible to watch. It's like, all wrist, and it looks so messed up.

its not all wrists dude... and umm our softballs take more to hitt it outtah the park than a baseballl.. and they hurt more.. but you know what.. i can kick guys butts at baseball.. softballs are a lot harder too pitch to.. im a pitcher.. and its harder to get it in the zone.. because you gottah have a lot more stuff down to get it perfect..

I don't know anything about softball or baseball, but a year or so ago I had a teacher who was watching a friend of mine and I throw a baseball back and forth. she told me that I should play baseball for our school team. I didn't, but I always wondered what it was about the way that I was throwing that made her say that. She thought I played on a team too.

I feel really bad about Duaner Sanchez and the whole taxi cab accident. But I feel worse for Xavier Nady. He wasn't necessarily a key player, but to be on a team thats sure to at least get to the playoffs into late July...Well, that's gotta stink, getting traded.

me too! it is a lot harder because the ball is bigger so it tends to take up more space in the strike zone!

Chill. I wasn't putting down softball. I wasn't saying the swing is all wrists. I was simply saying it looks like it.

But I dunno. You try hitting a baseball 420 feet to get a homerun out of center field in Comerica Park. You try throwing a baseball 102 MPH to a home plate 30 feet farter away. Trust me, that strike zone looks A LOT smaller from 90 than 60.

No matter how you put it, major league baseball I would say is harder than major league softball.

All time favorite Nolan Ryan, i was a huge Nolan Ryan fan till he retired now i love Kenny Rogers he brings so much leadership to the Tigers its incredible how much the rest of the pitching team looks up to him...and ofcourse i like Jeremy Bonderman but i happen to be a Tigers fan so that may be why

Carlos Zambrano.. even though he is emotional, he still is a great pitcher, greg maddux, he was traded this week to LA for cesar izturis (sp), i liked mark prior in 2003
