I have been going to WDW since 1976 when I was 5 years old. Snow White has always been my favorite Disney character and I still love her as much now at 32 years old.

Every year that I have gone I was always missing an opportunity to see Snow White and have a picture taken with her. 3 years ago when we were at WDW with my 3 yr old daughter I asked a cast member (sweet grandpa type) if he knew where Snow White may be, he said Epcot, we were at the MK, and he says to my daughter "Honey, do you love Snow White" she says "My mommy wants to see her". The man laughed and I told him it truly was for me that I was seeking her out.

The next year when we went my daughter was now 4 we went into the Town Hall on Main Street and we saw a couple characters in there and all of sudden my husband grabs me and says "There's Snow White hurry!!!!" I turned around and there she was exactly how I expected her to be. I briskly walked to the back of the gift shop and said to her "Oh my God I can't believe I finally found you" she looked at me kinda funny and I told her my story as I began to cry and I said to her "Will you please take a picture with me?" She giggled and said "You are so sweet, it's not everyday that an adult is crying when they see me."

So we took some pictures and I was in my glory - I felt like a little child again. Obviously I know she's just a cast member, but at that moment I didn't care - to me she was the real deal.

This is why I love WDW so much, because at any age, if you allow the magic to come into your life, you can wash away your troubles and your stress in life for a short while and feel like a kid again.

We are going again in Sept. and I don't feel the need to search Snow White out again but if I run into her I will happily take another picture.

Please share any stories you may have.

What a wonderful story. Thanks for sharing it with us. My favorite is Belle and I've been fortunate enough to meet her a number of times. One of my favorite times was a year or so ago when i met her at MK over by City Hall at MK. I got in line to get a picture of her. I got the photo which she graciously agreed to pose for and then walked away, not wanting to take up too much of Belle's time. After I had left, Belle's assistant came up to me and asked if I would like my picture taken with Belle. I said that I would love to if that was possible, gave him my camera, and then we walked back to where Belle was. When she saw me, she smiled widely and said, 'How nice to see you again!' As we posed for the photo, Belle asked if she could take my arm, to which I replied yes and gave her my arm. Her assistant reminded her to be sure to give it back after the photo. Belle was just so sweet. After that, the photo was taken, we said our goodbyes, and I left. It was just a small thing really, but getting that picture taken with my favorite character and having her be just so nice was a wonderful and unexpected surprise that really made my day.
