I checked my email this evening with great anticipation! I kept telling myself, think positive, think positive - You're gonna see that email
from Walt Disney World telling you that You Are The Grand Prize Winner!!!!
But alas, nothing........

I think the drawing was to be held yesterday, or was it today?

Has anyone received any email? Anything?

No, I didn't win, either . I just posted a thread on the Community Board to see if any DISer won and if they can check in if somebody did win.
I thought I read on the rules part of hte sweepstakes, that Disney is supposed to send an email out to hte winner on Sept. 4, which was Labor Day.

I don't think it's wrong for someone like that to win. Everyone who enters should have a fair chance. It would show that you don't have to be part of a family with two or three young kids to enjoy Disney. Any 85 yr. old men who signed up would hope just as much as anyone else that they won.

It would be incredible to win though. The only problem with a Diser winning is that whenever they post people will go "Oh, there's the guy who won the big prize instead of me. Grrr!"

I'll be in the parks on October 2 for the week. October 1 is when they start the new promotion. We're also going with someone who works at Disney, so I'm all over that! If it's possible and I see something going on, I'll get some photos!
