We're hoping to add FD to the first two nights of our bounceback stay @ WL. We already have FD for 8 nights but the first two were before the bounceback offer. I'm hoping they let us do it for two nights at WL....

I'm waiting for Thurday to book, but called this morning to book my ADRs and go everything I wanted. Execpt for LTT on a MNSSHP night I have to have dinner at 4:15 instead of 4:45, but I'm not complaining. I made 14 ADRs and on Thursday after I have the DDDP I'll make ADRs for the dinner shows, and try for CRT for my birthday. (my back up is Play and Dine)

It requires a 3 night stay, unless you're going to modify your current reservation.

yup, very sick to my stomach over it, since I can't call until 915am when my hubby gets paid, ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish apon a star I could hold the reservation instead of having to pay right away!!

Don't kick yourself Seriously though, I tried to ask about Bounceback on my trip last year and the CM's looked at me like I had 10 heads!! Not every one was able to get it, so just think that bounceback wasn't meant to be for us but tomorrow is!!

DH will be calling bright and early tomorrow morning, wish him luck as he's never called before, I would call myself but I started a new job and don't think they would appreciate me hanging out on the phone long distance for an hour

How many friends am I going to have on the phone with me Thursday morning??? DH called tonight and moved rooms from Port Orleans Riverside to Pop to save some money. I made DH ask for whatever room we could get free dining with on Thursday! The CM on the phone tried to tell DH he didn't know anything about it. The fiesty me came out and I said that was crap that people were getting it today. The CM asked my DH where I got that info from and I gave him the code I have for Thursday. He just laughed and said he didn't have any info and I couldn't get free dining today....darn! I guess it was worth a shot!

Ok so who needs a wake up call Thursday morning?? Who's already got a game plan? What's your "ideal" free dining ressie that you're going to book on Thursday? I'm just praying that I get it all together before DH has to leave for work and I'm home with DS3 and DS1.

Ok I have a question. Now don't throw the apples at me this is my first time doing the FD thing. So is there a chance even though I have a room booked at POR that it may not be available for FD?? I was just planning to call and change my ressie. Is that possible? Is there only so many rooms per resort for the FD. If anyone doesn't mind explaining I would be grateful!

most definitely possible. listen to the DIS podcast at the end they talk about the different scenarios.

if its room only res.... your res gets cancelled and new reservation w/ ticks and FD is made if rooms are left available at your resort. not even sure if all resorts even have blocks of rooms for FD?

if you already have pkg w/ tickets(if rooms are available under FD) then your existing res gets changed not cancelled. if no rooms are left at your resort for FD you cant get it without moving to another resort??


was said you are not guaranteed to get the same room requests or even same resort to get FD. So if your flexible then its worth the savings. 3 day minimum stay!!!also days booked before start day of FD are NOT eligible for FD. also those days most be separate reservation to get FD for the balance days!!?? days after end of FD are eligible for FD at least.

i am thinking existing res people are going to be disappointed with their options.Also thinking alot of peoples planning just went out the window!!!!


basically you cant add FD to room only res. A pkg has to be purchased and thats a diffrent reservation system. your room only res is GONE. and if your lucky you will get a room you will be happy with.

or thats what i took the discussion as saying!!!!

so folks the trick is try making another reservation w/ FD BEFORE you cancel your original res. yes you are gonna have to pay another deposit until they can credit your deposit from the canceled original res.

what i didn't hear was if ALL resorts participate in the FD?

and heard that alot of the good ADR's are already gone from people double booking etc planning for this FD. I am thinkin........its gonna be a zoo at the restaurants. but i could be wrong....NOT!!!!!!

I will be up bright and early also. I have Pop currently booked but decided I wanted to stay at CSR since I will still be saving money over the original POP room I already reserved. ( : Good luck all.
