Who's Staying at Grande Lakes?

Well...it's getting close to opening...so,who is planning to stay at Grande Lakes-either Ritz or Marriott-this summer with those fabulous intro rates???

What kind of "fabulous intro rates" are you seeing? The rates I am seeing probably wouldn't be considered fabulous. The cheapest I have seen is at http://www.luxury-hotels-orlando.com/grande_lakes and is $179 for a Marriott Lake Golf Front room.

Where are you finding "fabulous" rates?

on marriotts web site it gave me a rate of $169 with 2 adult breakfast buffets. they also mailed us a promo thing for $159 and the breakfast plus an upgrade to lakefront room.
all you have to do is be a marriott reward member i think.

i don't know if these are fabulous rates or not. They are probably good for this very nice looking brand new place but they are more than i cared to spend.

This place looks really cool! If you go to marriott.com and follow the links-Specials and Offers-Come Out and Play Rates for Florida,you should find a Promo code OP7 for the JW Marriott for $159.This is only for 7/1-9/1. The Ritz intro rate is a lot higher-I believe $199 for this time period. But you should see the rates later in the year! Through the roof!!! The pool and golf course look great. I might just have to check it out for a long weekend later this summer,because I know I would never be able to stay there when those rates go up!

We are staying at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes, July 9-13. We will be there for the Triplet Connection Convention. We spoke to a staff member on the phone the other day and they will be opening July 1. The pictures and artist drawings that came in our convention package look wonderful. It has 2 pools connected by a lazy river. We can't wait to stay there. I looked up the rates online just to see how they compared to the convention rate. The best I found was $159 a nite. We are paying $119 a night. After the convention we are going to WDW for 7 days and staying at the Contemporary. I will let everyone know how the Marriott was.
Three weeks till are trip!!!!!!!!
