I contacted Paris Walks, but they said they were booked. Are there any other walking tours someone can recommend?

We are using Paris Muse for two family oriented private tours while in Paris - the Louvre and a walking tour. They have many other group walking and museum tours. I was very happy so far with the communication I have received and was able to pay with Paypal. They are highly rated on Tripadvisor. Good luck!

For you U.S. history buffs, I just read that USS Williamsburg was naval ship which became President Truman's personal yacht in 1945 is sitting the the port of La Spezia.

The town plans to scrap it if it sinks.

After doing more research in filling my schedule while we are in Barcelona, I found out that the Annual Sonar Fest is happening from June 13 - 15, 2013.
It's Barcelona's 20th International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art.

It will be especially busy around the Fira Montjuic (Magic Fountain) area as well as transportation.

Here's the website for those of you who are interested in attending the Festival:

I thought someone mentioned it earlier in the thread and there was some person or group that many were disappointed that we would miss seeing because they were performing on sat night. Was I incorrect on this?

Yes, there's concerts start in the morning and going until midnight. I really want to watch the PetShop Boys and Kraftwerk.

Thanks for this. We may reconsider the fountains on Friday evening. Not sure i want to venture into an exponentially larger crowd than a regular night would be.

First of all I can't believe that this cruise is almost here.... we booked over a year ago so it has been a long time coming. Dh and I were discussing some things and a question came up about what happens if we are signed up for FE but go for an upgrade at port and our room number changes? Our boys would be so sad to not get to do FE because of room change.

Great question. What has happened for us on previous cruises is that whoever has a room change lets the coordinator know onboard and the coordinator posts an update notice on their cabin door - so when you're delivering and you come to a cabin that you think you're supposed to drop off at and there's not a FE there, then you'll know to check for a cabin change notice. So it's important to know the coordinator's cabin number.

As I said, that's just how we've had it happen in the past, but I'm sure it's handled differently by other groups. I guess it's up to LLLPath how she wants to handle it.
