We got back a couple of days ago from our first family trip to Disney World. It was a great trip overall, but we ended up at the CentraCare walk-in clinic on Day 5 because my DS5 wouldn't stop coughing. It turns out that the smoke from wildfires in the area actually made him sick. YIKES! As soon as we returned home, his cough stopped and my DS2 started vomiting.
It got me thinking... Is it just our bad luck, or do lots of others have to deal with this as well???
And... while we're on the subject... what's the best place to go if your child is sick at Disney?

, she never cries, she was 12 and always acting mean and stuff. I knew she was telling the truth so I had to find a clinic. I found one, can't think of the name, but it was an evening clinic and she was treated for swim ear that had actually gotten infected. The clinic fee was $75 I believe and her medicine was $35, not in my budget at all. But worst of all, she was mad she couldn't swim the remainder of the trip AND SHE LOVES TO SWIM. Taught me a lesson, to take an extra $200 for emergencies.
