Who's got the better Tower of Terror? DCA or Tokyo?

This is a tidbit I got from an interview I did with the author of the new Imagineering book Melody Malmberg.

The TDS version is way better. Of course I only say this because it has a great storyline and themeing to go with it.


If the two US versions weren't in Hollywood it would be nice it they could get that same themeing.

Looking at the article I would say hands down Tokyo. The building is beautiful and I like the backstory a lot better. However, b/w DL and DHS, I would say DHS. I like how the ride goes moves forward and there is a little bit more to the ride than DCA. Either way, I love both rides!

They do not use the Twilight Zone theme in Tokyo presumably because the Japanese are not familiar with it. I definitely prefer the Twilight Zone theme over the Hightower theme. So DCA wins on this one in my book.

How do your kids feel about the Twilight Zone theme? If is wasn't for the attraction would they know of it?

They know Twilight Zone very well. They love to watch it when it comes on.
