Who's Got the Best Caesar Salad?

OK, so I've had a good chicken caesar salad from Cosmic Ray's and a *terrible* one from Sci Fi Diner.

Where do you think the best caesar salad is in the World, and why? I like 'em with grilled chicken, fried chicken, fried oysters, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, or just naked, so I'd like to hear about them all!

I was thinking about putting five or six top choices on a to do list and making the rounds, with photos, over the coming year's trips. I promise I'll follow up with a food report when I'm done!

WPE in DTD has a great caesar salad on a flat bread and Cosmic Rays has a great chicken caesar. The caesar at Sunshine Seasons is awesome! Also had one at Le Cellier and it was fantastic!

Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney had one of the best chicken ceaser salads I've ever had!! It was a fantasic salad over a flat garlic bread...Yum!!!

I had a great Blackened Mahi Mahi Caesar at the Big River Grille on our last trip. I would definitely go back again.

I've also thought that the side caesar at Pizzafari wasn't bad for the price.

The Chicken Caesar salad at Earl of Sandwich is soooo good and always fills me up. And at $5.95 you can't beat it! I wish I were eating one right now!

My thoughts exactly!! We can book our ADR's tomorrow, and in discussing everything on where we want to eat, this was the one place I said that I HAD to eat at again this time (and I don't even need to book an ADR for it!)

I had a delicious caesar salad at Coral Reef for an appt. We didn't really enjoy the rest of the meal-but that salad stands out for me!!!

OK we're going in 20 days, and I have the first five places planned for my Caesar Salad taste-off:

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe
Kona Cafe
Sunshine Seaons Food Fair
Coral Reef
Earl of Sandwich

I hope I don't get sick of them, but I don't think that's possible!

We're going back in November and I'll try and hit some more then.

...the smoky flavor that the grill would impart to the salad would be a nice touch as long as it was subtle and not too smoky. Makes me want to try it out!!

I think its cool you are doing this! My DS12 just did the same thing on a weekend trip to Bahrain. He had a caesar salad for nearly every meal! I'm sure you will have a better experience than he did! It was kind of funny to see what some places would call a "caesar" salad, he had tomatoes, eggs, and several dressings that weren't close to caesar. But he had a great time doing it!

I get it there with grilled shrimp. I LOVE it there I used to love the chicken caesar salad at CRT, when they served lunch from a menu, no characters. For about 2 1/2 years I was in mourning over it being gone, but GFC has made me happy again
