Who's got the bad weather right now?

I'm in Western NY and keep hearing about the midwest snowstorms, wondering when (if) they will arrive here Who's in the thick of it right now? Let's keep track of it.

The worst of the storm seems to have passed through here in central Illinois - thankfully! Not much snow fell, but bitterly cold temps and high winds remain right now. It is to remain this way through the night. The roads are to slick to get out and drive on.

We started the day with ice. We've added about two inches of snow since then and it's still falling steadily. 20 degrees with a windchill of 8. A perfect day to stay inside.

In North Jersey It was extremely windy this morning. It dosen't help that I'm on the tenth floor of a building that's on a mountain. But it was cold and rainy also. It's supposed to snow Tuesday also.

Chicago is looking at snow, winds gusting to 50 mph, temps falling into the teens and windchills well below zero. It's pretty nasty out there right now.

Detroit has had snow all day long. I can't tell if it's still snowing, or if it's just blowing snow... It's VERY windy now.

We have about three inches of heavy, wet snow. Great for snowballs Not great on the back!

I'm in south Asheville, NC. We got 4 unexpected inches last night. It wasn't supposed to start until late this afternoon. It warmed up just above freezing and has since cooled drastically. Everything has frozen to a sheet of ice and now we are expecting more snow. We don't have the equipment here that other places have, and we are in the mountains. Wind chill will be right at 0 tonight. It's not going to be a good morning tomorrow.

Nothing but wind now (and rain earlier) here in North Central WV....the weather channels can't decide if we are getting 1-2 inches of snow or 8-12 inches Either way, I'll be taking the Subaru to work tomorrow at 6am

We got about 3 inches and the temp dropped to bitter cold with wind gusts into 50mph+. Flurried all day, but no major accumulating snow.

It is 16 degrees with a wind chill of -1 out there. Blah, I am going to go to the store.

can ya'll please come take your cold weather back??! i'm in new orleans and it's soooooo cold! it's going to be 31 tonight and usually our cold season until january.

my arthritis would also like the cold weather gone!

Bad weather here just south of Lansing. I used to love a snowstorm when my kids were little but now my baby has to get out on these horrid roads at 10:00 tonight to go to work.

It's 34 degrees and raining. Snowed about 6 inches earlier, then started warming up. We are supposed to get 50 plus mph winds later.

Just drove into Cleveland from Rochester. Left a little before 1 and got in right before 5. Didn't hit snow until 50 miles from Cleveland. Up til that point it was nothing or rain.

We have inch. Don't laugh. We don't have snow plows to take care of the snow. They have already closed schools. Since my job is school close at the daycare when schools closed. So I will be home with the kids.

All my friends is calling is cash in the babysitting favors now. After this when keep my kids while work at the baseball games this summer.

I am have total 10 kids at my house tomorrow. What was thinking LOL.

It's really cold here in north Mississippi. Our barn faucet froze, and DH had to carry water out to the horses (5 horses so that takes awhile). It's supposed to be even worse in the morning, so I'll be buying heat tape tomorrow.

We got 2 feet of snow yesterday but everything is back to normal today. The stores were PACKED today but we have had snow storms the past 2 Saturdays and it's getting to crunch time for Christmas shopping.

5:30 a.m. here in Northern KY, Cincinnati OH area.

22 degrees, still snowing, many schools closed we probably have 3 or 4 inches already, and still snowing.

Central VA checking in. It's 24 degrees, all schools have closed and we are supposed to get 3 - 5" inches today, followed by freezing rain & sleet tonight. So far, nothing is falling from the sky at 7:10 AM. Christmas break started 2 days early for us cause I suspect if we get what we are supposed too, there will be no school tomorrow either.....DD is so bummed that they won't have their holiday party which was also PJ and Polar Express day
