Who's got a crystal ball...DLR AP rates for Oct?

Hoping to plan a trip for October and wondering impatiently when/if there might be some nice AP rates available for October

October rates are already out. DL is pretty consistent in that the AP rates (if they offer any) are usually out for the next three months. You can find them on the AP site or by calling Disney... or if you don't have access to the site and have more specific dates/hotel preferences I can check them for you.

Last year the AP rates for October (the good ones, not the 10% discount) did not come out until September!! I remember this specifically because there was a whole group of us on the DIS waiting for them, pondering and wondering when they would be out. We thought they would release them 3 months in advance and they didn't. Not 2 months in advance, either. They did not come out until September. For the longest time the PPH was showing as $221 on the calendar and I knew that was not the 'real' AP rate.

Finally, some of us gave up because it was taking too long for the rates to come out and we needed to make plans. In 2008, DLR did not wait nearly as long to release the AP rates but I think after that, they realized what a hit they had on their hands with Halloween and they decided to hold out and see how many bookings they would get at the regular rack rate before letting the AP holders have their rates!!

I guess I should have specified "AP Nights" rates. They do have the October rates up on the AP site but I'm holding out for the "good ones" as Sherry put it

Makes sense that they'll hold out and see how the DLR hotels book up for the Halloween festivities. And yes, last year we all waited and waited and I too went ahead and booked offsite because I didn't want to wait any longer. We still had a blast but I would SO much rather stay onsite if they release those magically delicious "AP Nights" rates...
