I am in the process of convincing my DH to book the trip for Dec 2-7th or 9th... we need to decide by the 15th!

I am worried that we won't get dining reservations though...ugh!!!

I'll be there with my 3 kids 12/9-12/14 for my 40th birthday. Scary. Husband not a Disney fan so he's staying home with the pets!

We are very excited to be taking out nieces who have NEVER been to any Disney park. Two nieces, one daughter, wife and I will be at the ASMU in a family suite Dec. 18 - 22 with free dining. I'd love to know how some of you got free dining plus a 40% discount.

If you know what places you want you can actually book them before you book the trip adn just cancel if you don't book or if you change your mind.

That's what we did for this trip. We area party of 5 so i was concerned about dining reservations so we booked like 2 days before we booked our free dining reservation.

Just pick the dates that the majority of your vacation would fall into, which would be December 5 - 11.

I'm bummed to hear about free dining. That explains why available ADRs disappeared in the course of a week.

We've been at this time for two trips now, but never during free dining. Will it be miserable? (Not crowds, just restaurants? Packed and unpleasant?)

Yes, the restaurants will be full. No, we have never found them unpleasant during free dining.

We (DH, myself and our two daughters 4 & 2) will be there November 28 to December 5 staying at BLT, Bay Lake View Studio (thank you to our guide for getting us in!!) for our first stay "home" We also added DXDDP. We will be going to the Nov 28 MVMCP. But I am trying to talk my husband into another night but he wants to go up to the lounge in BLT to watch the party Fireworks from there.

We are very much looking forward to this early Christmas celebration!!
