Dec.12- Jan 2 at FW in our travel trailer. This will be our fourth Christmas at WDW. Yes it is a long drive but well worth it. Fially finished my ADRs yesterday for the holiday week. I can hardly wait.:cool1:

Boomer, we'll be at WDW from Dec. 29, maybe we'll run into each other!

Wouldn't it be fun to have a means of recognizing our fellow DISers (esp. the CND ones)?? JUST READ ABOUT THE Light Green Mickey Heads.

bababear....thanks for the great tips
now that all the adr's are done I can concentrate on some fun other stuff
I definitely want to get some decorations to take!!
red/green glow sticks are a great idea also!
Where do you get the blow up christmas lawn decorations?....I wonder if there is somewhere I can buy these things and have delivered to CSR.

Denise you can usually get those inflatable things from Rona ,,Home Depot,,(seems every time I'm there they have new color Mickey heads):rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
I think Canadian Tire sells them also(usually Nov /Dec...I tried packing the three ft. tree in my suitcase and yeah it fit,,,not much else though.

We have a lime green mickey head that we place in front of our trailer at FW. Maybe we can design a Canadian Disers T- shirt and we can arrange a day and place to wear them. My children are always excited when we meet other Canadians at WDW. :yay: :woohoo:

We're heading down Dec 2-8th and will be staying at a cabin in Fort Wilderness. This will be my son and my 3 great-nephews first time there so I'm really exicted for them. I haven't told them yet....can't wait!!!!

Good Day Wendy,

We are going to be in the World for Christmas this year. it will be our second time. In fact we are renting a house for all of December and January; really looking forward to our first foray as snowbirds.

We currently live in Ottawa and will drive down. We did once before for a two week vacation and said never again. For two months however, it will be a different story.

Although we live in Ottawa now, we are originally from NS. My wife is from Halifax/Hubbards and I was born in Yarmouth. I still have lots of family there including cousins in Amirault's Hill and Wedgeport. One cousin's wife teaches French Immersion in Wedgeport school. If you grew up in the area and ever went into town as a kid, my Uncle Sev, who I am named for, had one of the few barbershops in town on Cliff street, across from the Y. My grandmother was a Muise from South End Yarmouth on Pearl Street. Who knows, we may be related!

We're going November 29 to December 8. We'll be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside and we have MMVCP tickets for Dec 2. We're flying Southwest out of Buffalo. Cost of SW for 2 adults return = $634. Cost for Air Canada Jazz out of Toronto = $1800.

We have a seven day Park Hopper and Tix to La Nouba on Nov 29. We've never been to Disney at Christmas time and I am sooooooo looking forward to it. Disney World and Christmas are two of my very favourite things... combined they should be magical!!!

:santa: :woohoo: :yay:  :tink: :smickey:

We're going for Christmas!!! We fly out of Halifax Dec 22 and come home the 30th (the rest of my family gets home the 1st!)

I have a little tree that I took down last year. I bought a cheap (I think it was on for 9.99) and it was prelit. I also bought my decorations from the dollarstore and just chucked them when we were coming back! I'll be doing the same thing this year!

We stay in Hollywood Beach from Nov. 28th - Dec 1st. Then we take a cruise to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico from Miami on Dec 1st-Dec 5th. We fly to Orlando on Dec 5th and check into Disney from Dec 5th- Dec 19th.(All Star Movies and POFQ) Next it is offsite to Best Western Lakeside From Dec 19th- Dec 29th to do non-disney parks. Christmas at Disney is beautiful but absolutely crazy. I went over Christmas last year and it was nuts. This year I need to get away from that madness. We will do Discvoery Cove, Christmas Day, Baush Gardens, Island of Adventure/ Universal and boxing day shopping offsite! We go home on Dec 29th and catch our breathe until school starts on Jan 4th!

Merry Christmas to All !
