We're at less than 20 days out for our departure to our long anticipated WDW trip... saw last night on the weather channel that There's Gustav, Hannah, and then 2 more tropical depressions shortly thereafter! I don't believe Gustav and Hannah will be a threat to our vaca - I'm sure they'll be over by then. But now I'm worried about the other 2 and whether they'll be come hurricanes and put a huge damper on our vacation.
Keep in tune to the weather channel I guess ---- most of the posters on this thread I'm sure will have an interest like me.
Looks like there's several tropical depressions in the pipe. I can tell you my eyes will be glued when it gets closer to Sept 20th, and I'm starting to regret turning down vacation insurance!
Looks like Hurricane Hanna is going to miss Florida altogether...we hope...looks like the Dominican and Cuba. Keeping a close eye on the storms though.
Just found a good airfare on Southwest, called the DVC and reserved a 1 br for Sept. 25 - 29 at Saratoga Springs Resort.
We were hoping for just a studio...but took what we could get!
We'll be arriving on the 12th ... and also staying at the Poly! Are you as excited as I am? This will be my 2 year old granddaughters first trip; the 6 year olds THIRD; and we've lost track of our trips-probably around 15. No matter - 1st or 100th; WDW is always a special place to visit. We'll be flying in from Houston so we're keeping our fingers "double crossed" on the hurricanes!!!
