Who's going President's Week?

At 11 months I book Home Resrt-BWV. THen @7 months I call to see if what I would prefer to go to is available-this year OKW, last VWL. I have never had a problem w/ this. The worst thing that could happen is still a great thing-I would be staying at another great DVC resort!

(P.S.-although BCV is my "Home", I have yet to stay there! we have stayed at VWL, BCV and OKW at WDW.)

We own all of our points at VWL - we didn't make our 2004 President's week reservations until May or June of 2003 - we did not have any problem getting a 2 bedroom. I don't think President's week would be as much of a problem as Easter, Christmas, etc. Last year we went at Easter - we made our reservations 11 months out at VWL and then at 7 months we tried to get BCV - it never came through. It is always smart to have something at your home resort at the 11 month window and then try to switch at 7 months. That way you know you are guaranteed a place to stay. Good luck!

I got our 4-day PH passes , but now DH doesn't want to go to all WDW parks-wants to try Universal!!

Anyway, I got my PH through the WDW WOS special promo tix for the AAu Soccer challenge-PH plus 1 for 4149. I have 5 but I will probably not need them. Please let me know if anyone wants to buy 1 , 2 3, 4, or all 5. We will be arriving on 2/13.

We will be arriving 2/10 for a 10 day stay. Any time away from this tough NY winter will be welcome! Will also be celebrating our 22 Anniversary while we're there.

We'll be there from 2/14-21 at a BWV standard studio. My husband's first trip to our home away from home. (I've been a number of times). We'll be there with our 14 yo son. Neither of them are big Disney nuts like I am. If the weather is nice, there will be lots of pool time (and golf time foy DH). I'm looking forward to the Wishes fireworks and Philharmagic? at Magic Kingdom. What are the lime green ribbons for. I'm kinda new to this forum. Thanks and see you all there. Hi, cybrary! Welcome to the boards. The lime green ribbon signals that the one wearing it is a participant on the DIS boards. I must say that I haven't had any luck with anyone noticing my lime green ribbon, nor have I happened to see any lime green ribbons while at WDW. Oh well, maybe this time!

We are lucky to be flying. And guess what? We have another blizzard coming!! Enough is enough...

Just found out that my husbands cousin and family will be at WDW at the same time. It will be nice to have some kids for my son to be with since he is an only child.

I must be desperate to go - I see I posted almost the same thing twice!

Monday the 9th we head up to Buffalo and fly out early on the 10th. Should be at OKW by 1:00 YAHOO.

We're going...got last minute ressies at Contemporary using DVC pts. yippie.

We'll also be going the 14th to the 20th. I CAN'T WAIT! First night at the Dolphin, then we move to a standard 1BR at the BWV.
I hope we have the weather we had last year. It was in the low 80's during the day and very pleasant in the evening. It was especially enjoyable when you considered that they got 20 inches of snow back in NJ while we were sipping mai tais by the pool. I just hope there's no snow for the flight out. We've had a horrible winter so far. We've already used five snow days, so we are scheduled to have school intil June 29th. That is not going to be fun in a non-air conditioned school.

We're going! DH, DGS 13 and myself. Flying from Philadelphia instead of Newark to MCO for the first time. OKW 2/14-2/18, then BWV 2/18-2/22!

Can't wait! We're trying to make a list of all the things we want to do, but never in a week will we do all the things we want to do...oh, well, there's always next time!

Thats so funny to hear about the NJ snow. Last year we went from the 7-16th and landed back in NJ in the middle of that big snowstorm. That is why we decided to travel during the end of Feb. this year.

The countdown timer is getting so close, I just finished my last shift at work today, and now the kids finish the week at school,
and we are outa here!!!!

I am SO excited.... It's supposed to snow here some on Wed, so I hope we get out before it hits (don't know how bad it's supposed to be)...

So, do you think I should bring beach towels? I like having them, but not sure how much swimming we'll have.

Last I looked it's Low 80's wed when we get there, down to 70's the rest, and then back to 80's the Wed when we leave????

Think the forecasters might be wrong and I'll get more swim weather.
