Ya Hoo

Just made our reservations. 4 nights Yacht club 3 nights AKL . We will be there from 6-15 to 6-22. We've stayed at AKl before and loved it! We've never stayed at the Yacht Club but we are really looking forward to it. Yacht club lovers please tell me everything! Thanks

The YC and BC is our favorite!!

You can't beat the location - walk to Epcot, boat to MGM. Or, you can even walk to MGM. The boardwalk area is so much fun - dining, shopping, bike rentals. Plus it's beautiful!!

Plus, the pool Stormalong Bay is the absolute best at WDW. It's like a mini water park. Sand bottom...winding and beautiful.

You'll have a great time. They've been refurbishing the rooms so it should be nice and fresh for you.

Hopefully we'll be going the last week of May next year. I think we'll split our stay between YC and either Poly or AKL.

We are! May 31- June 13!!!! A friend of mine and us have time shares. We are taking another family on our timeshares since they would never go to WDW on their own (too close to California, you know!).

We are staying on her time share off site in two-two bedroom villas for the first half and then the second half at OKW in a grand villa! First half we are checking out Universal and Sea World and the gulf coast and the second half WDW. It will be a commando type of vacation but we want to get in as much as we can in two weeks.

I bet we convert this family into WDW-holics, too!!!!

June 6 or 7 - June 17 or 18 for sure at the POLY!

We are still hashing out the details

This is our very first trip to Disney!:Pinkbounc

We are going June 25-July 1st. A surprise trip. We have AP's so the tickets are set, I have no idea where we are staying yet. If I can get a great price on AKL it will be there, otherwise either budget or DTD. So many details to work out it is even a surprise for me!LOL;)

We're planning our 3rd June trip. Tentative dates right now are June 8th to June 16 or 17.:D

yahoo! We're going June 11- 21. 4 nights,CSR, 4 nights WLV, 2 nights Portofino Bay!!! Can't wait!.......goof: Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We will hopefully be staying at the CR for my birthday next year-June 28-july 5th.:)

We may be going in the second week of June since the kids get out early this year. Does anybody know if it is as hot as August and what the crowds are like?

We are trying to decide between June, November (but kids have to miss school) or week after Easter.

Anyone who wants to help with this decision. Please feel free!

Thanks, Carolyn

we've always gone April vacation week, and the weather has always been perfect. The only times the crowds were really bad was the first year we went. This past April we walked on most rides or had very little wait. How old are your kids? Are they in grades where it would matter if they missed a week (sorry, that's the teacher in me talking;) ) We've never been in June, so I can't help you there. Good luck with whatever you decide-sometimes I think planning is half the fun!

We've been there in June and a week after Easter, the weather nice in March/ April cool in the mornings, very nice during the day. It's been different in June Only once was it very hot other wise i'ts hot- but tolerable, there usually is an afternoon shower around 3 or 4 lasting for about 1 hour, but you can plan your dinner around that, as it's cheaper to eat at latest lunch for most places than pay full price for dinner. The crowds were horrible in the spring wall to wall, we went last spring and I vowed "never again" during spring break! June's crowded but managable! I drive a schol bus so I can't really go anytime but summer or spring break . Iv'e read on these boards that Nov. is an awesome time to go with Christmas decorations up ect., of course the parks close earlier and I'm not sure about the parades? so anyway, that's my 2 cents! good luck!.... goof

We are!! We're getting married June 16 at the Wedding Pavillion - we're not sure yet how long we'll stay or where we'll be staying. We're hoping for the Poly, but we still have to talk money with both sets of parents to make sure we don't over-do it!

We are going Jun 11-21, I just made reservations at the SOG/Contemporary. We'll be a party of 10, my husband, me, our son 18, our daughter 16 and my niece 17. My husband's brother, his wife and three sons (9,5,2) will be with us. SIL has promised that even if her husband gets deployed (he's Army, we're Air Force) she'll bring the boys without him. Hoping he gets to come too but really want to see the boys' reaction more than his. It'll be the first time to WDW for everyone but the 4 of us. We'll be celebrating 2 high school graduations (DS and niece), 2 birthdays, SIL (38) and daughter (17) and mine and DH's 20th Wedding anniversary - Jun 15th. DH really wants to hit the water parks which we missed last time. We're all really looking forward to it, it should be great fun :p I just have to keep an eye out for a sale on green ribbon so ya'll can find us ;)

We'll be arriving May 31, 2003, and we're staying at Wilderness Lodge. I can't wait!

Kteacher, my oldest child is 13 and going into 8th grade. The middle school is really strict about missing school but also as you know, the homework is enormous and he is in honors algebra; so missing a class is like asking for a nightmare. THanks for the info.

Goofy4mickey48, thanks for your opinion. My son also told me that he would rather deal with the heat or crowds than not have the parks open late with fire works every night. So, it looks like nov is out. June is looking better and better, but I didn't know that in June it rains every day like in August. I went in August and the rain was a bummer. But I can see that you can plan around it.

Thanks, again!!

We have gone in June several times and always have a great time! Whenever you go, hope you have an awesome time as well!! ..goof :)

Another extended military(retired) family - all 11 of us will be at the SOG/CR June 7-14. We have reserved 3 rooms - one is a suite-looking forward to the extra space. I know it will be the gathering spot for the clan. We will be celebrating a high school graduation (our baby), a college graduation, a grandsons first birthday and our 32 anniversary. This is our second trip, the first one was when the high school graduate was three. While we had a great time then, she only remembers it because of the pictures we have. We always promised her that we would return ..... finally we are!

We are! Just sent Dreams the info this morning. We're doing 6 nights POFQ and 4 nightsHRH early June 2003. Can't wait! This will be our 3rd trip (we can only afford to go every other year); all 3 trips in June.

Mickey76 and I will be going to WDW again during the month of June. We aren't sure of the dates yet, since we will be graduating and will have a lot going on. We are hoping to stay at PO-Riverside. We checked it out this past vacation and really loved it. If it's too pricey for us we may go with ASMO. We would really rather stay with a moderate, but during this trip we have a lot of planning to do for our wedding the following summer and still have a lot of money to save! :D No matter where we end up staying it'll be magical...as long as we are together!!!!

Were planning an extended (for us!) early June trip (7th - 20th). We've never visited during the summer, and realize the heat will probably slow us down. We enjoy afternoons by the pool, so are hoping for later hours in June than our alternative dates in late August. I'm a little concerned aboout the impact on crowds GAY DAYS pose. Can any early June vets help me here? TIA
