While I still have 122 days until I get to my "Happy Place", I can't help think and "talk" about it! :lovestruc

If you are going to be in WDW the month of October I'd love to hear what you plan to do. Something new and different? Or one of your "favorite must do's" we all have. Where are you going to eat? What's your favorite or not so favorite restaurants. I'll start......

I'm going to be at the Boardwalk Villas for 6 nights alone!! This is my "Mommy Only" yearly trip. I plan on attending MNSSHP and just thinking about it get's me so exceited!! One new dining experience will be the Cape May Clam Bake. Since DH isn't a seafood/fish eater of any sorts we've never been there. So I'm taking this opportunity to check it out.

So how about you?

My DH and I are taking our DGD for her 1st Disney trip.:yay: We will be there Oct.13-17. She will be 5 by then. We have gone in Oct many times over the years as it is our favorite time to be there. Having 3 grown boys, it has been a while since I spent much time in Fantasyland! :rotfl2: Sadly, IASW will be closed while we are there so she will not be able to ride that. Oh well, next time.
During our trip this past Jan we had dinner at OHana and were able to watch Wishes from our table. Very cool. We'd love to do that again. I'm usually a big planner, however, planning a trip with a 5yr old girl is such a departure, I'm at a bit of a loss. Any suggestions?

We will be there for our 5th anniversary staying 8 nights at BLT after our cruise. Nothing really new this trip other than the cruise and our first time driving instead of flying. We plan on several aftrnoons/evenings at epcot for food and wine. Our whole trip is sept 24 - oct 8.

We will be there Oct 16 - 20, staying at SSR/VWL (waitlisting for 1 night @ VWL hoping we don't have to move resort). We are planning to do MNSSHP, and use the "Give a day get a Disney day ticket" we have since Feb for Food and Wine Fest at Epcot. I am also planning to check out their BLT sale pitch on the Top of the World Lounge one day, Hayride @ FW and play the mini-golf. All these things I have never done before.

We will be there for 9 or 10 nights at BWV to celebrate our birthdays and 20th anniversary. We will have the new Premier AP, so may have to go to the water parks (it's been years). Will probably also do MNNSHP (unless we do the MHP at DL before we leave!) and may do the the D23 F&W event on Oct 15, depending on the details, including cost. -- Suzanne

:)We will be there from 10/23-10/30 at the BWVs. We only made a few ADRs this trip because we don't want to be committed every day. We plan on "eating/drinking" our way "around the World" a few days and taking advantage of the kitchen in our 1br villa. Our ADRs include LeCellier, Tutto Italia & Kouzzina's. OP, I think you will enjoy Cape May Cafe. We just returned last month from an 8-day stay at the BCVs and our first night we had dinner at Cape May Cafe and it was a big hit. I am toying with the idea of making an ADR there for our arrival day since our flight time has change and we will be arriving 2 hrs. later than what we thought. Have a wonderful time!

We will be there from October 8-12 and we are getting married!!! YAY for ME ooh and him too!!!

We're going in October too :cool1: The dates we'll be there are October 8 - 16th. We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary :lovestruc We are going to do a 4 night Disney Cruise and we are staying at AKV 2 nights prior to the cruise, and for 2 nights after the cruise. We are considering buying tix to MNSSHP (I believe for October 14th) -- we've never attended MNSSHP before, so I thought it might be fun to try. We will be dining at our favorite restaurants on this vacation: Boma, California Grill (for our anniversary dinner), Yachtsman Steakhouse & Narcoossee's, and we will be seeing La Nouba (we saw it while on our Disneymoon 10 years ago, so we thought it would be nice to see it again).

We are new DVC members. DH and I are going to celebrate his 40th, without our kids, from Oct.1-6. 3 nights at AKV, followed by 2 at BWV - so excited because we've never stayed at either. We are running the first ever F&W 1/2 marathon which starts at 10:00pm on Saturday. Friday we arrive, register for the race and have dinner at Sanaa. Saturday, probably go to MK for a couple hours then get ready for the race. The party at Epot goes until 3:00am Sunday morning, so we will be sleeping in on Sunday. Plan on relaxing around the pool and then have reservations at Jiko. Check out on Monday and head over to Epcot. 2 days of enjoying F&W!:cool1:Can't wait to try Jellyrolls either!

We will be at WDW from 9/30/2010 to 10/9/2010. We are staying at BLT (Lake View) from 9/30 to 10/3, and then moving over to BWV (Garden/Pool view) from 10/3 to 10/9. This will be our second stay at BLT, but our first time in a 1-bedroom. It will also be our first stay at BWV. Since we will arrive in Orlando the day before we check in at BLT, we might book a single night at a Disney Value or moderate Resort, such as Pop Century or Port Orleans. We are waiting to see what the Annual Passholder discounts will be for those rooms.

This will be our first visit to the F&W festival, and our first visit to MNSSHP. We are thinking of getting a TIW card, which would also be a first. Another first that we are really looking forward to is meeting a fellow disboard member in person. Our trip is overlapping dizfan's trip and we have an ADR for dinner together at Le Cellier.

I am SO ready for this trip!!!

My wife and I will be heading down and doing the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon, staying at BWV.

We'll have a few days alone (yeah!) to celebrate our 10th anniversary and then the kids and their grandparents will join us for some days at the parks and a 4 night cruise. I cant wait!

We are going in Oct too :thumbsup2 It will be our first stay as DVC members. A lot of the trip will be trying new things.

We are starting with 3 nights at AKV to check it out. I am curious about the pools and just how far out it feels.

5 nights at BC. We paid for a room because we closed too late to get a BCV room without a wait list and then got a 40% off code. More points to bank which can help hold off the add ons for a while :rotfl:

On the way home 2 nights at HHI to check it out as well. It is a long drive to WDW for us. HHI is just 17 hours from home so doable in a (long) day. If we enjoy it, it will become a regular stop.

It will be our first MNSSHP and F&W. All but one ADR is for places we have not tried.

Cannot wait! :yay:

We will be there the 16th thru the 22 at BLT lake view, Grand Villa. It is a 10 person family trip with four of these people being our small grandchildren. This trip is over two years in the making. We already have ADR's for Hoop-Dee-Doo and Chef Mickeys....smjj

One night at the BCV, lunch at Downtown D and Narcossee's for dinner. Leave for the 7 night western cruise. Then 3 more nights at BCV to do F&W.

We will be there also with my DB, DSIL, 3 nieces (12,10 and 9) and 1 nephew (9). We are staying at BLT from Oct 5-Oct 12. MNSSHP is a must for us well the F&W. The kids eat there way through EPCOT and the adults drink there way.:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

This is so cool!! I can "feel" the excitement in everyone's posts!! :yay:

I see that for quite a few this will be their first time at either the Food and Wine Festival and/or MNSSHP. I absolutely love both events. I think I forgot to mention in the original post that I'll also be attending the Food and Wine Festival. I love walking or should I say eating my way around the World!

We'll be at BCV and then BLT MK view.

As wdrl mentioned, we'll be meeting them for dinner at Le Cellier's one night.

Looking forward to attending our two favorite events: F&W and MNSSHP.

There's something special about walking in a mostly deserted park at closing.
We hope to take a quiet stroll around the countries as most people leave followed by a short walk to BCV.
Also plan to have an ice cream and let people clear out of MK, then walk down a deserted Main Street and back to BLT.

Well, our 13 year old is heading to Washington DC for a class trip, so we are taking our 10 year old to AKL from the 27-31. Will do a MNSSHP and one day in the parks. Also a day at a waterpark (old passes). Other than that we are going to explore all that AKL has to offer, including lots of time at the pool.

If you are going to be in WDW the month of October I'd love to hear what you plan to do. Something new and different? Or one of your "favorite must do's" we all have. Where are you going to eat? What's your favorite or not so favorite restaurants.
We'll be there in early October. It is our first visit at this time of year -- I'm certainly looking forward to F&W. We'll be joined by my folks who are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year. They missed our December trip last year (Treehouse Villa, Candlelight Processional and the lovely Christmas Tree shared by Maribell) due to my dad's cancer treatment. Mom is taking the lead on booking our dining plans given her prior experience with F&W. I'm looking forward to her choices and trying places beyond our tried'n'true favorites: Jikos, O'Hanas, Flying Fish, etc. I wonder if we'll even try preparing a meal in our Grand Villa??

We will be there from October 8-12 and we are getting married!!! YAY for ME ooh and him too!!!
Congratulations to you both!

First DVC trip and the first with just the two of us, 3rd-8th, staying at OKW. Doing MNSSHP, F&W, Victoria & Albert's, Le Cellier, Spirit of Aloha, Backstage Magic Tour, Around the World Epcot Segway Tour and more.
