We're staying at The Grand Floridian from 10/13 - 10/16. We'll be at MNSSHP on 10/13!! Cant wait!!!

Oct 28th thru Nov 4th. Heading to MNSSHP on the 28th. Haven't seen but a few people on these boards that say they will be at the party on the 28th.

My wife and I will be traveling with my parents and my 3 kids (9,6 2) in a Class A RV staying at FW.

We've had a change of plans. The person who was going with us, had to cancel. Sooooo....DD and I will be staying at Pop Century from 10-6 through 10-9 with MNSSHP on the 6th.

Can't wait to see everyone there!

MommyBoo - I love the list - what a great way to see who will be there when you are - is there a way to filter it to see who might be attending the MNSSHP the same night as we are????

If anyone is going to MNSSHP on October 11 - I would love to know (and maybe do a meet and greet) - that is when we (all six of us ) will be there - our ressies for LTT are @ 7:45 so I realize we will miss the first parade - we will miss the fireworks????

Tinkerbellz - A redhead is a redhead in my book - I am a natural - but I think it's great that after all the teasing I got as a kid - it is cool to be a redhead!!!!!! - the nice thing about being a bottle red is that you can keep covering it as it fades or grows out - naturals have an issue because we can never find a "TRUE MATCH" to our natural color ...Stinks but I am 36 and truthfully my color has not changed much and I have this really cool white patch in the front of my hair at the bang area ( I am always getting accused of dying it) that my grandmother told me was a birthmark that an aunt of mine had - strange thing is that my red hair comes from my grandfather's side and the "streak" comes from my grandmother's side -

There is this really reat book about redheads " The Red Head Handbook" No joke - I read it - funny.....

NO costumes, cant buy shirts and tshirt transfers, I think I need to see a doctor!!

to top it off, DS 17 is home sick with 102 fever!! How long do you think before everyone else gets it, 3 weeks maybe!!

We will be staying SSR. Going to MNSSHP on 31st. Never been on Halloween and a little worried about crowds. We usually go middle of Oct. We have been 3 times and we love it. Having dinner at Liberty Tree before party.

Just tell DS that he's just going to have to go into quarantine until he's over it. You know, kind of a "take on for the team" thing. I'm sure he'll understand.

Oh, and in case you haven't thought about it, they are just getting out the Halloween stuff out everywhere. I'm sure you'll be able to find something before you go!

I think I already posted to this thread with my dates, but I will never find it! Anyway, we will be at POP Oct 23-Oct 31, going to MNSSHP on the 30th. My friend Amanda is going with us and can't wait to go to celebrate being done with her time in the Army, she will have her DS 6 months old. I'll be there with DS 4 and DD 20 months, but without DH (in Iraq). See ya there!

I just got off the phone and booked mine and my friend's airfare and resort (POP) for a quick trip October 4-8th. I actually booked this trip 3 weeks in advance - which for me is a loooong time in advance! The last couple trips ended up being booked like 5-6 days beforehand. This will be my first time staying on-site tho.

Now I just hope this trip doesn't get cancelled...I was sooo close last May but had to cancel at the last minute because of an issue with the people I was supposed to go with...I hate being so pessimistic but I'm not going to believe I'm there until I see the castle...I just hope that nothing comes up between now and the 4th!

I was the same way. The 1st and only MNSSHP I went to was in 2000 and I had no idea about the special map, parade , fireworks or anything. YIKES! I cannot believe I did not know any of this then. I went the Friday before Halloween and it was mobbed. My DD (1 at the time was very tired and cranky, thankfully my mom (she was tired too) volunteered to take her back to the resort, so my sister and I could enjoy the night. Even though I missed sooo much, the atmosphere was wonderful and I loved it.

Lynn4mel: Thank you for the link to the website! I am really looking forward to all the things I missed last time and will be prepared this time. I am REALLY looking forward to the new halloween fireworks display.

Here's my "awwww" moment for today....

My DS 17, is home sick, probably strep, yesterday fever 101.6, today 99.4 - he's a senior in high school, not the 'talkative' or 'sensitive' type, more quiet, shy, and plays bassoon, is a math 'whiz'... Guess what's on TV? He's watching Monsters Inc!! (hmmm wonder if he's trying to be suttle? Not taking him or his brother on this trip to Disney - wow, now his brother sat down to watch - he's 20!! )
