Here's my "awwww" moment for today....

My DS 17, is home sick, probably strep, yesterday fever 101.6, today 99.4 - he's a senior in high school, not the 'talkative' or 'sensitive' type, more quiet, shy, and plays bassoon, is a math 'whiz'... Guess what's on TV? He's watching Monsters Inc!! (hmmm wonder if he's trying to be suttle? Not taking him or his brother on this trip to Disney - wow, now his brother sat down to watch - he's 20!! :goodvibes )

AWWWWWWW :rotfl:

Seriously though, my son and I sit down and watch Disney cartoons all the time but he is 12. I only hope that when my son is 17 or 20 that he still sits down to watch them. I know I do, but I'm not going to reveal my age. I commend you on keeping them so young!! ::MickeyMo

My 2 girls will get in Disney Movie moods... Usually it's when they tell me they want to watch a DVD and tell me to surprise them, because they know it'll be one of their favorites

:dancer: :rockband: :dancer:

Wooooo Hooooo!!!! Doin' the 30 day dance

DH "lets" DD watch cartoons sometimes on his tv. He's 28! :rotfl:

Because we are spending a week in St. Louis before we go, we are down to 9 days! I'm single digit dancing! :cool1: (Sure wish I had everything together. Still need to get a ride to the airport! :scared1: )

EIGHTEEN DAYS!! :earseek:

DS went back to school today!! :moped: I believe he has strep, he's being treated for strep... STAY AWAY STREP!!

Called my mom - they're a riot... I call on Dad's cell phone... Dad is golfing, "we had the landline hooked up" Dad I've been trying that for 2 days!! 5 hours later, mom calls me - cell to cell - "well you need my cell when we're in Disney, all 4 of us will have cells now" "MOM, let me tell you YOUR PHONE IS OFF THE HOOK" no its not, I can see it right here!! OK< I'm going to call you on the land line... busy ... I call back on the cell ... "Mom, the phone is busy" "It is??? I wonder why?" :faint: "Oh, I didnt put it back right, it was off the hook" :rotfl2:

Dad is so excited, I made a binder filled with all the info I've researched, the menus, the parks, and the comments on some of the things, like Dad doing the Richard Petty - - dad did read it... he's now changed to the "KING" experience - :rotfl2:

Now if anyone knows of any tricks to get rid of the perimenopause time of month gushes, let me know, I have 18 days, and I feel like I'm dying!!

MommyBoo - I love the list :cool1: - what a great way to see who will be there when you are - is there a way to filter it to see who might be attending the MNSSHP the same night as we are????

If anyone is going to MNSSHP on October 11 - I would love to know (and maybe do a meet and greet) - that is when we (all six of us :scared: :crazy2: ) will be there - our ressies for LTT are @ 7:45 so I realize we will miss the first parade :sad1: - we will miss the fireworks???? :confused3

TKERBELL - Highlight columns A -I and go up to data and sort. Sort by Column I. That should work. I hope. :wizard:

I danced too soon, DS is a great mind person, he wills himself well, he went to school, but came home sick - throat really bad - really bbaaaad!!

:wizard:

(aNd I hate when this thread disappears on me!!_)
:rotfl:

Is anyone going to MNSSHP on 10-27? Do you think the crowds will be low? This is a Thursday night so I thought it would be less crowded.

What do ya think? :earsgirl:

We went last October I can't rmember the exact date, but it was throught the week, maybe the 25 or 26 and it was not too crowded, it seemed like just enough people. We are going next month on the 25th so we will see how crowded it is then. I can't wait!!! Have fun!!

We got married last year on OCT 10 in Disney and the parks were crowded. I remember my family memebers going to the parks and telling us how odd it was that there were so many kids in the parks. I have gone quite a few times in the fall and it is still busy, it just feels better because it is not that hot

My dad and I are headed down for Oct 13. Our 1st MNSSHP and first October trip. We usually visit in Feb/March for his birthday, but this year I get to go for mine. I have my costume ready (I'll be a bloodthirsty pirate) and Mr. PartyPooper.. uh I mean dear old dad is wearing his "Generic Halloween Costume" t-shirt. (Hey he's 73 and thought it would be cool to grow a mohawk so at least he's half dressed up whatever he wears.)

We had condo reservations enough to accommodate more family, but they all opted out for various boring reasons. So for two weeks Oct 2-16, it's just us two Disney lovers trundling around soaking up the vibes and making the gang at home jealous over what they skipped.

Only problem I've run into so far is finding dinner reservations around the World our first travel week (2-8). Hope that doesn't mean it'll be crowded.

We'll be there Oct 21-28. Staying at WL one night then move to CSR. This will be our first time for the MNSSHP. We always go in Oct but never have done the MNSSHP. It's myself, DH, DS, DN, DSis, DM, and DF. It's my DM, DF, Dsis and DN first time at WDW. :cheer2:

Can't hardly wait anymore!!!

Just finished checking our airline seats on the seat guru website. Almost wish I hadn't checked. Yikes!! Our first leg of the trip will be on a 30 passenger plane. Nothing like skimming the tree tops!

:) Mickey's Not So Scarry Halloween Party

Lori

the first page of Theme Parks Folder there is a post that tells all about it - it cost extra, you can get in the park with just that ticket around 4-5pm, and stay in the magical Halloween Kingdom till midnight... if you dont have a ticket they start ushering the other guests out of the MK around 6pm...

We're going Oct 6, and I cant wait!!

I want to jump, and shout, and wish all the days to go smoothly and quickly till I get on our S80 plane!! :bounce: :bounce:
