Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

Kerlynne, It sounds like lots of different costumes - so you can do what is best for you and your family! For us, I think DH and my parents will be non Disney characters!! So let your ds tell you... its such a magical time for kids, and kids at heart!! (that's me!! :cool1: )

Oct 6th... LTT... ok, when it gets closer to hmmm August? I'll start a thread, and maybe we'll do some sort of something... :bounce: I just bought a Lime Green shirt at Sam's Club today!! I cant help but think of the Dis, and Oct, and my "happy place!!"

Mommyboo,
When I open the Oct 2005 document, it doesn't show Oct 13th as an option for MNSSHP. That's when we are planning on going, so if I'm clicking on the wrong link or something, let me know. Thanks for all your work.

We still don't know where we're staying :earboy2:

Lori P. :)

OK, I think I've got this fixed now. :) I will be updating all of the info since my last post in this thread tomorrow. Spent today doing waayyyyy too much and am headed to bed. Where's that sleeping smilie?

Yea!!! We got our tickets for the Oct 11 party!!!!! So if you see a large group of people dressed as characters from Peter Pan....it's US!!! pirate:

I was disappointed that there were no AP discounts available from the 6th to the 20th. That's our whole trip! I assumed that there would be at least ONE day available with a discount during our trip. And when I asked the CM about the AP discount, he had no idea what I was talking about, so he very kindly researched it "for me" though I was looking right at the info on WDWIG. Thanks Deb!!! I sure wish we could have saved that $6/ticket though.

We ordered our tickets for Oct 30. 4 adults and 5 children. No ap discounts for this date. We are very excited!!

We're doing MNSSHP (first time for us!) on 10/13 with an LTT PS at 5:35. We'll be at SSR for a couple of nights prior to a cruise on the Magic!

kkar and DW will be there October 7-10 for our annual anniversary trip!

What dining options are there for those of us who don't want to eat at Tony's or Liberty Tree Tavern? We have tickets for Oct. 6th and are very excited indeed !! :Pinkbounc ! Also, we are two adults and want to dress up to some extent but have no clue what so ever what to be! Has to be cool, comfortable, easy yet lots of fun :rotfl: .

Any ideas, please?

Counter service. Our family enjoys grabbing a Casey's hotdog, and then sitting at a curbside table. From there, we havea great view of the castle changing colors, and can watch all of the other party goers strolling by in their costumes. It really sets the mood for the evening. :wizard:

DH, DD7 and me, plus my parents, my sis, her husband and their two boys (2 and 3) will descend upon WDW probably 10/22 - 10/29. Sis wants to stay at PO, mom and me are pushing for Y&B, we'll see.

Last year was my first October visit and it's my new favorite time to visit. The Halloween festivities and the F&W are such nice celebrations at WDW.

Most looking forward to:
Me: getting to an Eat to the Beat concert
DD: trying out a water park
DH: sneaking away for some golf

Just bought tickets for Halloween night with a 5 pm PS for the LTT, now we just need SW air to release the schedule, only booking up til Septh 12 and figure out costumes.

I almost posted in the December thread! :rotfl2:

I just want to jump up and down and pout, did you see all the people at Disney NOW???! Why not me? I wanna go, we saw pics, and people are wearing the golden ears... dh looks at me and I give my pouty face... I want those ears!!

:cheer2: I miss DISNEY!! :cheer2:

I used to be content just coming here - but today... *sigh

I'm sorry, but can someone please tell me what "MNSSHP" stands for??? I'm so confused...

Erica

THANK YOU!!!

That sounds fun, are there any extra special 'halloween' activities during that time? I love halloween!!! Do people come to the parks dressed in costume?

It sounds like so much fun, we're going!! It doesnt hurt that its my mom's bday, and my dd 8 now... and then there's food and wine fest at epcot... How long to October? I hope I survive the summer!

Check out info here> > http://allearsnet.com/tp/mk/mnssh.htm

Mickey's Mouse-Ka-Rade Costume Parties in Tomorrowland: 6:45, 7:30, 8:30, 9:45, 10:30 and 11:15pm

Special Halloween Fireworks 9:15

and there's lots of threads discussing adults and costumes... I'm thinking lots will and lots wont, its what makes you happy!! My mom is checking flea markets and will in all likelihood pick up Halloween "Tshirts" Dh, tie dye, we have this crazy top hat that has tie dye fake hair attatched, and skeltons in neon colors, perfect with his tie dye shirts!! :rotfl2: DD will either do a witch/harry potter or a Princess :rotfl: We're a 'weird' family!!

There is a special parade, dance parties, trick-or-treating stations, story telling. Most of the kids and a lot of parents dress up. It's a blast. If you look at MommyBoo's wonderful list she's made, you'll see that most of us are going to the party! WE ARE SO VERY EXCITED! :cheer2:
