Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

I dont know if its a good idea to have so much time to plan!! Last time I had a few WEEKS!! This time months to plan, and replan! Adding my parents have added yet another dimension to my plans!! :)

I had originally wanted to do MNSSHP on our arrival day, thus saving a ticket day... its my mom's birthday so I thought to do Ohana's. I just dont want to do DTD... just not our thing. Now I know I cannot spend a day so close, and NOT GO INTO A Park! :rotfl:

Going on Thursday to MNSSHP, throws me off, just a bit. Adding a PS to this is a relief, its a given on what to do. I made a reservation for my dad to do the Rookie Experience on Wednesday... do we go and watch Papa? Do we do our thing? choices choices!! :rotfl2:

Every time I see another poster coming on Oct 6 and doing LTT around 5ish, I just grin - can you imagine.. what a party!! :bounce:

I'm so excited! I haven't booked the hotel or bought any tickets yet. Now I feel like I'm behind, lol. I have yet to tell dd4 about the trip. I think I'm going to keep it a surprise this time. :)

MommyBoo, add the Ergens to the Sept 30th MNSSHP. I was very bummed about not going on the 4th. It threw a wrench into our plans but oh well! We will just have to take a nap before we head over to the MK. See yal there! :cheer2:

I know! October 6th seems pretty popular over here, that's when we are going (5:30 ps). I think all of LTT will be all Disboard members between 5-6!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hey Mommykds, we will be there the same time. Same resort too. It seems like a busy week. I booked that week thinking it would be slow, it was the slowest week 3 years ago. Let's hope it still is and the majority of the people there are from DIS boards!!

Just bought our MNSSHP tickets for Oct 30th! Whoo Hoo! I'm getting excited.

Also booked a 6:05 seating at Tony's. Earliest she had for the 30th. The CM wasn't aware she could book it this early for MNSSHP ticket holders, she had to check - but she was great about it and it all worked out.

Yipee!

OK, I'm asking again. What's up at Tony's? I thought you could only do LTT this early. Is Tony's doing something special??

Hi Erika,

I read the post by beattyfamily on page 63 of this thread. I've never done this before but it seems that you can also make early reservations at Tony's this year. The CM I talked to didn't know that (thanks once again to the DIS) so she put me on hold to check. Sure enough because I had purchased our party tickets she was able to make a priority seating for me at Tony's. She said that the earliest available on Oct 30th was 6:05 pm.

Hope that helps. I can't wait :cool1:

Thanks for the info. I thought I had seen earlier in the week someone say something about a buffet at Tonys before the party, anyone know anything about that?

Thanks!

Our family of four will also be attending MNSSHP October 6th with a priority seating at LTT at 5:20 pm! :cool1:

I made a PS at Tony's for 6pm and the CM said it was a buffet

We have rented points at Boardwalk Villas October 29 through November 5th. We were able to get a boardwalk view so we're very excited. My DH loves the F & W Festival so we can't wait to be able to walk into Epcot. We're also taking our nine month old grandson so we want to attend MNSSHP as well.

Really, a buffet? I don't mind but didn't realize that. Did they give you prices for the buffet, say anything about what might be offered?

Thanks :)

Is it possible to do all of the special shows in one night?

Is there a link to last year's party schedule?

I was hoping to do two parties during our trip, one on the 2nd and the other on the 4th. That way we'd be able to spend one party focusing on the shows and the other on the rides.

Since the 4th isn't an option, I've decided to try to get all of the shows in on the 2nd.

Do they have two parades during the party? What about fireworks?

Sorry for all the questions. We've never attended a hard ticket event before so I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect.

MNSSHP info/schedule link

I don't think there are a lot of special shows for MNSSHP. But there is time to trick or treat, see the parade and the fireworks and do some rides.

The parades were 8:00p and 10:00p last year (it can vary by 1/2 hour though each year) and the fireworks were 9:15p.

Just booked our family of three, for the Oct 25 date.

Now the hardest thing is trying to find a costume for my ds who will be 12 by then. His size, makes me buy the mans size, but he doesn't want to be a "man." For example, he would like to be be Dash, from the Incredibles, but his height, he would have to be the father.
Those that have been before, would you say most kids, even preteens, are dressed for the occasion? He wants to be, just think it's gonna be hard to find something for him to wear, that will also be heat friendly. We are used to our Halloweens, being so cold here.

Mommyboo,
When I open the Oct 2005 document, it doesn't show Oct 13th as an option for MNSSHP. That's when we are planning on going, so if I'm clicking on the wrong link or something, let me know. Thanks for all your work.

We still don't know where we're staying :earboy2:

Lori P. :)
