Tikki, I am wondering how you got your HDD ressies so early!!!??? We want to do this as a big family meal one night and I thought you had to wait for 90 days out. What's your secret???

Sorry no relpy...a little slow this week (got a cold :sad2: ). I hope you got your ressies made for Hoop Dee Doo. It is my understanding that the earlier you get your ressies...the better seats you get too! I can't wait to see the show! Good luck with that!

We'll be there too! We are going to be cruising on the Disney Magic from Oct 22-29, but we are planning a couple days before and after at WDW. Last year we cruised the same week and didn't do WDW and really missed it - so this time we'll do both! Our group is myself, DH, DS5 and my parents. (Don't know yet if G'ma and G'pa are going to be willing to do MNSSHP or not ...)

We plan to be at WDW from Oct 20-22 and Oct 29-30. A big part of the plan is to attend MNSSHP for the first time! We have been to MVMCP around 10 times, but have never been there for a MNSSHP. Since there is a "pirate night" on the cruise, we will probably dress as pirates that night. I just can't see packing multiple costumes!

:flower: :sunny: :) :goodvibes :cheer2: :wave2: :bounce: pirate:  :flower1: :disrocks:

I'm going!!! It's my first ever Disney birthday trip.

My dad and I got annual passes this year and had already planned two trips this spring (March and May). Since it was so cold in March (we were there 5-12) and we had the passes, vacation time but no set plans I made a wish and it was granted.

My birthday is Oct 2, but we'll be there the 9-16. Staying offsite at our home resort Marriott's Grande Vista. We've invited family to join us (my uncle and aunt who've never been, my brother's family whose kids have off fr Columbus Day, some other friends). We managed to get a big 3 bedroom unit for our week stay so we can hold a few visitors. They'll probably all decide in August or September.

I'm looking forward most to MNSSHP, Food & Wine Fest, and of course celebrating my birthday in my favorite place. I've always been in Feb/Mar to celebrate my dad's birthday so now it will be my turn.

Now if I can just find out when MNSSHP tickets go on sale.

J;)

Going October 19-26 and staying at Pop Century. It will be me, my DS 16, my DS 19(will be 20 when we go) and his girlfriend. I'm excited because his girlfriend has only been once and her dad only took them to the Magic Kingdom and told them that was all there was!!! She was shocked when she saw my guidbooks :rotfl: . We can't wait! :hourglass

Thanks Tikki....sure hope you're feeling better. My Mom is in charge of the ressies. She called and got them for all 10 of us the Monday of our trip (10/17). She was laughing when she called me..."According to Disney, we're a group. I'd say we're more like a gaggle, but whatever!!"

Anyone else Hoop-Dee-Doing on 10/17???

What dates will you be at WDW and where will you be staying?

What are you most looking forward to on your trip to WDW?

We're going October 25th - November 3rd and will be staying the Grand Floridian! :wizard:
I'm most looking forward to MNSSHP and the F&W Festival (it will be our first time to both of these events! ) I wish the time would fly by faster.

:flower: I've noticed a lot of posts asking for the dates of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Here are the dates from wdwinfo: Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 2005

Here is a link to more info about MNSSHP from wdwinfo: http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm

We will be in WDW Sept 30th-Oct 9th

We are staying at CBR

I am most looking forward to MNSSHP and having a few drinks at the food and wine festival at Epcot. :drinking1

Wow, there are going to be 6 other Dis'ers staying at the French Qtr during the time I am.

I am pretty sure we will do MNSSHP on the 4th.

Hey all! I just thought of another question... Have any of you rode the Riverboat during MNSSHP? I didn't get the chance to ride it at all last time. Fun, or not? Is it a different ride during the party? pirate:

Yes! We rode it during the party and it is different. THere is a "ghost" storyteller. Also, a musical group that plays Grim Grinning Ghosts. Our group played it on banjos but I read where they played it on drums one year. The music is better than the storyteller imho but it was all fun!!! I will post a clip of it if I can after dinner, along with an updated list.

And my group keeps growing..
I REALLY need to shut up about how great Disney is.. My First year it was my family of 4, the next year, my family and my mom and one sister and one neice, last year, the above, Plus another sister and nephew and neice.... Now this oct.. ALL of the above Plus another sister and neice, and Cousin and her family of 4.. Not to mention the Aunts and Cousins who live in Fla, and are coming for 1 day to tour with us.. LOL
We ALL will be down there Oct 22-29..
All Star Sports
The Halloween Party on the 25th.

:grouphug:

I can only imagine what Next year will Bring..

Guess this is the same thread - didn't read all the 400 + replys!

We'll be there Oct. 19 - 24 at VWL
Probably won't do MNSSHP this year. Did it last year and the year before. Great fun!

Looking forward to being at WDW once again!

My family and in-laws will be there Oct.3-Oct.9 at the wilderness lodge. Can't wait to try MNSSHP for the first time! was wondering how crowded this event will be and is it worth the extra money? princess: :earsboy: :earsgirl: princess:
