Who's going in October 2002?

Me, DS and my DM will be at the BC on Oct 20 - 25. We are still trying to decide if we should go to MNSSHP on Oct. 20.

Was originally going in Dec but due to unforseend circumstances (pregnancy), now going in Oct 5-12.
Was staying at PO-R but change to WL with the new codes... PO-R was not available at these rates

We will be at WDW from October 12 - 16 at the Dolphin. Traveling with me will be my DS, who is almost 3, my DM and DM-I-L. I'm so disappointed that we will miss the MNSSHP! I don't suppose they add any dates to the schedule at the last minute? We have to go at these specific times due to work schedules. UGH! :bounce:

We are going 10/16-10/23 and staying at the Poly. We are also going to the MNSSHP on 10/17. We went last year to the MNSSHP on around the same date and it was great. It wasn't crowded at all and neither were any parks the entire week we were there. It is a great time to go!:D

Oh good, I'm glad the crowd weren't too bad at that time last year. I hope it's the same this year!! :)

DH and I are going October 13-21 and are staying at the CR (SOG).

See you REAL soon.

As always, hubby and I will be there again this fall (6th trip this year). Staying at All Star Movies from Oct. 24-Nov.2. Going to the Happy Haunts Ball on the 30th. Skipping the MNSSHP this year.

12 YO DD and I will be there from 10/24 - 10/29 staying at the Dolphin.

Some quality Dad and Daughter time!

We will be there from Oct 16-23. Just my girlfriend and myself. DH and I went last year at the same time, but he is not a Disney addict like me (once every 10 years is enough for him), but he doesn't care if I go-----So we will be two retired school teachers off to see the world. Will be staying at POFQ. She likes it there and I'm just happy to be going again--although I loved the BWI last year. Can't wait.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Wow, somehow I had not noticed this thread before!! Are all of you going to WDW at the end of October?? It sure seems like it!! I'll be there with Pooh's Pal and 5 other friends to celebrate her 50th Birthday!! One night at the BCV then over to BWV for 4 nights!! My first experience on rented points!! 10/26-10/30

minster22....see ya at the boardwalk....we will be there 10/27 to 11/02....

Hope it's a great Bday bash...:D

OK, after 2 failed attempts to get to DisneyWorld in the last year and a half, I am very happy to report that WE WILL BE THERE IN OCTOBER!!!!! Oct. 16-24 staying at the Contemporary Tower. I'm taking myself and my 2 girls ages: 5 and 7. We were there 2 years ago and loved every bit of it. I'm very excited although I have my reservations about staying at the CR but got very good rates.

See ya'll there,
Mellie:Pinkbounc

We will be there the same time frame, Oct. 2nd through the 11th. Looking forward to it. Have you ever stayed at the WL before?

Good morning October travelers. Just wanted to pass on some info. I was on the phone yesterday making my PS' and the CM was wonderful. Anywhoooo I asked him to check what Oct. 29th looked like for the Princess Breakfast at Norway. Thinking it must be full but he says "oh yeah what time would you like". It sounded like there was lots of room that day because he gave me a few choices for times. I had no problem with any of my times. So if you don't have your heart set for Cindy's you should give the Princess breakfast a try. 9 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!

We are going as a family for the first time from 10/2 - 10/10. First at the BC, then on the DCL. We are coming in a day early and staying at the Courtyard at Downtown Disney, so we won't waste our package on going to the Walmart, etc. We'll check in at the BC at 7:00 a.m. the next day! My Mom & DS (1 yr. old) will be there the whole time. DH will join us for the WDW portion, but not the cruise. I am so excited!!!

Does anyone know what the weather is like in Orlando towards the end of October?

We'll be there! Oct. 19-25. DH, myself and our five kids (9yr. through 10months, at the time). We're staying at Fort Wilderness.
First time for everyone (except a high school band trip for me)! I too was hoping not to battle crowds (and lose a kid, LOL) on our first visit.
We are not doing MNSSHP but I would be interested in hearing from anyone else going at that time.
Jamie
