Who's Going in November

We will be at AKL from Nov 20 - Nov 27, then we move to POR until Dec 2nd. It will be me DH, DD 8, DD 4 turning 5, and DS 2!! I cant wait, this will be the second year in a row we will be there for Thanksgiving and Im so excited! We will be at MVMCP Nov. 30th!

Where: - UK lower terrace with unobstructed view of Illuminations

Old World Classics in Miniature: Pastries in Miniature to include:
Chocolate and Pistachio Cannoli, Fresh Fruit Tartlet, Vanilla Cream Filled Pastry Horns,Chocolate Eclairs, Orange Marmalade Roulade

We'll be there from Nov 15-25 staying at the Poly Concierge level (hoping for some AP codes big time!)

"We" included myself, DH, DS8, and my Mom-her first trip in over 20 years and first time ever at a Disney Resort! DS will be celebrating a bday on the 16th and mine is a week later on the 23rd!!

Ok, I hate to show my ignorance-but what is the significance of a lime green ribbon?

My DS will also be celebrating his birthday on the 16th.
The lime green ribbons.. well I'm not really sure why lime green(i'm fairly new here too..) but I do know that it is a way for Dis members to recognize each other while out'n'about.
This will be my first trip knowing about the Dis but I am anxious to meet some of the regular posters here and maybe Thank them all for the wonderful tips and information they have given me while I plan this trip.

We'll be there 10/31 - 11/8. Me, DH, DD 13, DS 13, DS8, staying Poly GV concierge. This will be our 2nd trip as a family. We made the mistake of taking our first trip over Christmas week last year. Had a great time but the crowds were a bit much Hope it's a little calmer this time

Nov. 7-15. Two nights at the BC & then over to OKW for our first "official" trip home!!

Another Dis family that will be at Movies in November! We'll be there with our 3 boys from Nov 10 - 17. This is our second trip but our first time on site. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see Buzz and Woody!!

SnowWhite33 - we will be at the world 11/15 -23 and splitting our stay with 4 nights at the Polynesian and then 4 nights at the Yacht Club. We will be staying concierge level at both so will probably see you in the Polynesian lounge! DS will be turning 9 on the 11th - 2 years ago he was down on his bd. We also have a DD4. You will recognise DS - he'll be the kid with his nose in the gameboy!

We just love the Polynesian!

Hey we will be in WDW too, I have been 16 times but my hubby has only been once and when I ask him did you do this, NO, did you see that, NO....I think he must have had heat stroke.

I have not been since 1992, so I am very excited about seeing it all again and the new stuff! Opps, almost forgot, we will be at POR, I wish the French Quarter were open then.

Me, DH, DD-13, DS-11, and DD-8 will be there November 25th through December 6th. First Thanksgiving away from home! Now the Mothers/Mothers-in-Law will not have to fight over who's house we are supposed to be at this year...LOL!! We haven't make our ressies yet, but I think we're staying at the Dolphin. I CAN"T WAIT!!!

Me, DS (9), DD (7) and DW (not telling) will be going back to the world Nov. 9 - Nov.16. It's our second trip to see the mouse and the kids (and the mom) are totally stoked!!!
We will be staying at the POR for the full length of our stay, so look for the ribbons.

Our family is doing our part to represent southern NJ for "Jersey Week". We (parents, plus DD14, DS7 and DD7) will be at WDW the first week of November staying at OKW, after spending Halloween at Universal (I refused to spend 4 times the number of points for that Friday and Saturday night!).

The family is waiting, impatiently, but waiting!

I'm surprised no one else mentioned being at WDW for "Jersey Week"! For those that don't know what Jersey week is, every year the teachers in the state hold their annual convention and in-service training on the first thursday/friday in the month of November. Schools are closed at least those two days, and some communities close them up to the entire week! It becomes an opportune time to take a vacation and avoid some of the crowd.... except when you find that half the people you run into at WDW are then from NJ! It was that way on the Disney cruise last year and became a running joke.

Would "love" to be at the WL concierge, but.............since DH said if I can pay for this trip we'll go. So with my meisely money from my two part time jobs this will be a bit of a budget trip. My family of five will be at the ASMo and ASMu from Nov 14-23!! I am SO ready!!
