just an all girl trip which will be nice...

O.k., so I'm bored. First of all, we'll be there from 8/23 thru 8/30.

To give myself something to do the last few minutes of my Friday workday, I went through all previous posts and figured out (based on those who gave actual dates in their posts), how many of us will be there each day in August. Wanna know how many fellow dissers you'll have to put up with? Here's the tally:

We were going to go from 12/24 to 12/31 (staying at ASMo) but then just a couple of days ago decided to go with the FTP and stay at AKL from 8/8-8/16. So we get AKL and not much more cost than ASMo would be in December. It's official....just booked everything yesterday. Anybody there during this time at AKL or anywhere else that would like to meet and say Hi?

We'll BE THERE too! We are going to actually "BE THERE" THROUGH JUNE, JULY & AUGUST! So...we have the SUMMER COVERED (LOL). I STILL have not begun to pack...so I have to get busy. The timer is steadily counting-down. To everyone else going in August...ENJOY!!

Ummmmm....>>^..^<<~~Mostly "ALL DISNEY" in there! Count 7-eves in Disney's VERO BEACH, 5-eves in DISNEY'S CR, 4-eves on the DISNEY WONDER CRUISE, 28-eves total at the WDW DOLPHIN RESORT, and the rest of the time at the Peabody, 5 eves in the PBH Villa Suite, a few eves in KEY WEST! Who knows...we may extend it even longer once we are there (as we did this last summer). It is actually LONGER than 7 weeks, but SEVEN WEEKS of our sojourn is IN DISNEY!

So...I would state the MAJORITY of our vacation time is definitely in the MIDST of the DISNEY MAGIC!

The Lime Green Ribbons are optional but helps to indentify fellow DISers at a glance.

People drape them on bum bags, strollers etc


(I'm sure someone will be along with a link explaining the history of this).

This is our 13th consecutive year...of "extended" (ahem!) summer sojourns in THE MAGIC of WDW! Slowly, but surely, our vacations grew & grew (LOL). Last summer we added the 7-night Western C.C. on the Magic (Cat. 5), and we refused to "relinquish" any of the "other...planned" days/weeks. So...it became another 7-8 week trip.

Your 16~night trip looks PRETTY DARN lavish as well! After all, Concierge & CL are not (by ANY means) comp. to motel 6!!

I'll be accompanied by my Sony Vaio Laptop...so the reports will be "continuous" (as opposed to BOOK FORM!). Well...not much longer now...and we'll be INSIDE the MAGIC! Thanks for the kind wishes...FUN will definitely be the order of the day!

Welcome to the USA! 2 weeks at the CBR sounds wonderful. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. To me there is nothing that compares with a visit to the "world". You'll find so much to do there! Have a wonderful time!
