We're hittin' WDW this year for our sixth time in august and were wondering who else was going then???

My DD (12) and I are going Aug 21st to 30th. We're staying 3 nights at Royal Pacific and then onto AS Movies. This is a girls only trip

We are starting at BCVs, then to Vero Beach for the weekend and back to OKW for the week!

If you are around the first week of Aug, be sure to catch the Drum Corps that will be playing at WDW.

Finals are at the Citrus Bowl this year!

We will be there 07/30 thru 08/3 on our 11th trip to Disney. This is our second all girl trip. Me, my DD age 15, DD age 9 and my oldest DD friend. We are staying at CR and can hardly wait.

We are going from 8/16 - 8/30 and staying at the BWI. Never stayed there before and can hardly wait. Its still two whole months away!

I'll be with DD (8) and DD (10) /20 to 8/23 for three days of girls only, at the CBR.... then we meet DH and DS (13) on 8/23 who are driving up from MA for seven nights at the Yacht Club. I'll celebrate my 40th on 8/29 and then leave for a wedding in VA on 8/30. Whew, I'm tired just thinking about it!

Anyhow, if you see an woman with t-shirt on that says - Happy Birthay to Me.... please wave!

We're thinking of going with a friend who was inticed by the ftp 8/3-8/10. I know it will be very hot and humid, but is it really unbearable. I've been there before at the end of May so I'm guessing it'll be pretty much like that. Also, my fiancé's family is from New Orleans and we go there every July or August so we're used to the heat, but how crowded is it? The end of May wasn't really crowded at all so it made the heat not so bad, but if the beginning of August is packed, we might just skip this trip since we're going in October anyway. The MS AP preview is really appealing though. Any advice?

We are staying 3 nights at ASSp, and 4 at the Contemporary! Me, dh, dd6, ds spending 4th bday there, as well as a friend I haven't seen in 7 years and her 2 boys, 6 and 8! Unfortunately, school starts August 26th.

I'm planning to be there Aug. 16-23rd at the AKL on the FT package. It is me, my DH and my DS who is 5 and DS who is 1. This is also for my 40th birthday which I'm celebrating a couple of months earlly cause I didn't want to take off and go while DS was in school! And my first time in a deluxe. I've never been in August so dreading the heat but can't wait!

I'll be there July 31 to August 9 (BWV and Vistana). This will be our third visit during this particular time period. I'm not as thrilled with the crowds and heat at this time, but have a high-schooler now so going in the fall is not as easy any more. Try and avoid the MK on Friday and Saturdays---this seems to be the most crowded park and these days seem to be the worst. On the flip side, if you want to catch the night parade, it tends to be running on these nights most of the time. I haven't yet checked August hours.

i've never been at this time before, but i'm starting grad school right after labor day so this is the only time we can go.

I think we are too! DD is starting 8th grade this fall and her workload is just too much to be out a whole week. So it will be me, DH, DD (13), DS (11), and DD (8). Not sure where we're staying yet, but hoping for those AP or room only codes to come out past August 23rd....!!!

ok, so DH, DS12 and DS5 too!! The best part?? The kids have NO CLUE!!!! I've been able to keep this a secret for 2 months so far. Wow...2 trips in 6 months and this from a family that took 8 years to make a first trip!
We are staying in DD Courtyard from 8/24-8/30
