Who's going Easter 2007?

We are! I know its probably the worst time to go, but as of now dd doesn't have a midwinter break(I should say the school won't tell me). So I get to start calling on Monday. I'm going thru withdrawals and we were there in Feb!

Started making ressies yesterday for Easter week - would prefer going at a more uncrowded time, but its the only school break DD gets after New Years thats more than one day.

Good luck with your trip! As long as you know the crowds will be heavy you should be able to plan around them somewhat.

We're going somewhere the last week of March and will just miss the Easter break. Right now we made reservations at BWV, but we may change and go to Vero Beach the whole time, or mix it up between the two resorts. Or maybe even try a Concierge Collection choice.

I will be calling Monday for the 11 month window at OKW for a GV. This will be our 3rd trip in 10 months using the AP for the first time so we hopefully won't mind the crowds and not getting as much done as usual.

I have been there at easter along with half the northeast. Up here the catholic schools close and everyone heads to Disney.I will have to say it was the most crowded time i have ever been there and would never go again under any circumstances.We had nothing special to do and had no particular plan except to visit WDW.If you dont mind the crowds and the lines enjoy yourself.If this was someones first trip i would reccomend that they not go.

Just got back from our Easter/April break and I have never seen it so crowded. Even Epcot which I have never seen crowded! We went for 2 weeks so we didn't stress too much about the crowds. My kids also only get the break after Christmas then its nothing until April too. That's why I didn't mind taking them out of school for a week so we could enjoy our vacation. As long as you know what you're in for you'll have a wonderful time.

WE'll be there next year. We've actually even convinced some DVC friends to join us so that should be fun! Anyway, as the above posts have indicated it is probably one of the busiest times to go (barring Christmas break). Last year it was trip #3 on our AP so we just wanted to hang out in some warm weather. We choose to go in to the parks early and go back to the hotel in the afternoon and enjoy the pool. BWV did a great candy scramble on Easter morning. WE decided to go to the pool for a while before going to our Fantasmic dinner that evening. They had a pool party --- we stayed there much longer than planned but it was great! I think if you know what you're in for . . . you can plan your trip accordingly. See you there!

I've reserved BWV for Mon-Wed of easter week so far, but really don't want to spend the points for the weekend - what do those of you are going plan on doing?

I can't wait to go back during the Easter period. However, I am still waiting for my school to set our vacation dates. With my luck they won't have it ironed out until Aug!

For those going at Easter, do you book day by day or wait until you can book your whole trip? We are thinking of going April 14-21 next year. Easter is the 8th, so really only the beginning of our trip should overlap with the Easter week crowds. I just don't know if I should book day by day or not. We will be booking a 2BR at OKW.
