OT, but have you all heard of the movie Garden State (w/ Natalie Portman + Zach Braff)? It's an excellent film set in Northern NJ, and most of it was filmed on site too (towns like Cranford, Tenafly, Wallington). It's only in limited release around the country now, but if it's playing near you, go see it if you get a chance!

Born and raised in New Milford, New Jersey. Actually, born in Hackensack Hospital. Worked for the Bergen Record for many years, moved to Garfield, New Jersey for a few years and then moved to Florida. It's so much nicer down here, but I do miss New York City.

We've actually been thinking about making DVC plates also. I'll be looking for you. I'll be the grey Ford Focus with the red, white and blue Mickey ears on the antenna.

We moved to Vernon, NJ this past October from Sutton, MA. I can see the ski slopes and water park at Mountain Creek from my front windows. Its a very pretty area but somtimes I miss civilization!

there's a lot of us! And for those folks near Englewood FL now - I visit the area quite often - Grandmother lives in Venice! Small World!

Indeed! I have the best memories of our annual summer vacations on Long Beach Island! Surf City, Ship Bottom, Barnegat, Loveladies, ohh ... I'm so ready to go back!

I had to laugh when I saw this thread. Just this morning Kelly Ripa was cracking me up ( as usual) on her show Live with Regis and Kelly. Regis is off, so Jeff (aaahhhhh) Probst from Survivor was her guest host. He was telling her that since doing Survivor he is amazed at how many places people live in the World. Her come back was "Yeah, I will never forget the day I found out there was a Northern Jersey!" LOL! It was so funny!

OK, I just thought I would share, talk amoungst yourselves.
