I am glad I moved ... the economy is kinda stinky everywhere but now is a super time to buy down here. For example, I could now only sell my house for $70,000 less than I bought it for. I do wish I could have a good day or two of good ol' NH winter weather but I'd rather do without than have an entire winter of it. At first I was kind of bored down here but now everything is getting a bit more built up so there is more to do. I do miss some of my favorite hangouts and running into someone you haven't seen in a year or two though. Both places have pros and cons for me. What I really need to do is become a "snowbird."

We're looking to make the move too when my daughter graduates from H.S and depending where she decides to go to college. I just hope I can find a job down there!

Hey All!

Wanted to chime in..I am from Nashua!

I have been tinkering with dates all weekend,and this morning I got my wife and I Feb 4-11 at the POP with Magic Base Tickets,Disney Express and 2 RT Tix out of MHT for 1119!I finally jumped at it!Its the first time we have gone and done this..we have stayed off site about 5 times...but I could not pass this up...hopefully this helps someone else!It has got to be the cheapest set of 7 days out there..I think I have tried every combination!

welcome neighbor...I live just on the other side of the river from you. That is a great deal, never stayed ar POP but it seems to be the consensus fav of the values.

Good morning New Hampshire. It is wet and damp up here in the Lake Sunapee area. It seems like forever for the time to get here. I can't believe I will be at "POP" in 23 days. What more could you ask for "The Christmas Season" and going to "Walt Disney World"


Has anyone had the chance to get up this way to see the "Wind Mills"? They are all up and they have had there test run. It is an awsome sight.

They are about 30 mile north up Rt. 10 from Keene. I hope you folks get to see them.

Hi! We are in the Sunapee area too, 2 towns over in Sutton. Christmas time in Disney sounds awesome this year we are going April vacation. I hope it's better than July- when we usually go. Can't take the heat anymore.

Hello from Newport. The Fire Department and many volunteers are decorating the main street. My DH and I will be going out to dinner this evening and hope to see all the lights.

Can you believe the drop in temperature. This morning 60 degrees, now about 42 degrees. I think it's time for a hot drink.

When does your town decorate for the Hoildays?

My town doesnt decorate... too small We normally just enjoy Keenes. I think they are more or less day after Thanksgiving.

We finally got the house cleaned up for winter yesterday.... looks so sad with everything tucked away under the decks
Winter is upon us I guess... totally thrilled about going to WDW in Feb though. Getting away from the snow!

Hi everyone at home! I'm here now at the WDW Dolphin and boy is it cold! I left in the cold of Vermont and landed in very chilly Orlando - yikes! But as I see it, cold at Disney World is WAY better than cold in Vermont!

It is supposed to be about 15 degrees tonight here in hudson. I just looked at the 10 day forcaqst and looks like you are gonna get a couple of days in the 70's

Good morning from Newport. This morning it was 10 degrees . I love early morning shopping, not real busy. Left at 6:45 went to Wal-Mart, Hannaford (the only place I could find the chocolate advent calanders) I get them for my five grandchildren. Then on to K-Mart to finish up. When I got home the woodstove was making the house real warm. Gotta love that wood heat.

My DH is getting down the Christmas decorations today along with our luggage.

Have you folks heard that 94.9 (WHOM) is playing their 24/7 Christmas music already. I Loveeeeeeeeeeee that.

I guess it's back to the housework. Hopefully a chicken stew tonight for supper. I also need to bake browines and make banana bread.

We will be seeing the "MOUSE" real soon
