Hi from Newport. We have started our wood stove up for the first time this season. It is so hot in here that you can't stand it. I love it. There is nothing warmer then wood heat. Unless we can go to the "Islands". That would be O.K. too. How are you keeping warm?

I know and last year on our way home we were waylayed in JFK
14 hours due to ice/snow. Hopefully wont be 'welcomed' home in that way this time... .(doing non-stop flights this time)

Yup, Mt. Washington has snow on top. My parents were at their Conway home this weekend, and said some of the mountains were white on the top. Ready or not....here comes!!!

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday morning it was 29 degrees and this morning it was 51 degrees!

Has anyone else been invaded by ladybugs?

It is absolutely gorgeous! As my grandfather said... 'if you dont like the New England weather, wait a minute' If only it would stay like this for another month or so. So not ready for the heating bills and the shoveling.

What is the deal with the ladybugs... they are everywhere!!! And the bees... when do those little... jerks.... go away?
