Who's eaten at Yak & Yeti?

The restaurant itself was fine. Try not to be seated in the first dining area, as it's very open and the walkway for everyone else. Coconut rice was blah! yuck! gross! However mango pie was really good. If you want some pics check out my dining review thread. It's on page 4 I believe.

My family and I ate there earlier this month. The decor was interesting. The food was mediocre. Go there for a drink.

We tried it in December and liked it. I got the fried shrimp on skewers and the fried wontons for dessert- both were very good. Tried the sampler appetizer but was very disappointed in the foods and the size considering the price. We would probably go back again sometime but are not in any hurry.

We ate there last month; we each had wonton soup, and I had the crispy honey chicken, my DH had lo mein w/chicken. We liked it- but we agreed we could have been a little more adventurous in our choices.

Disappointed to here average reviews. We were going to eat here on our next trip, but now I'm not so sure.

we ate at the CS part. We had the honey chicken/rice. Ours was really good. It was enough for 2 to share.

I ate there last month and I thought it was delicious. I really liked the theming and the location (it was close to my favorite attractions). Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I thought the food was really yummy, but I'm not hard to please when it comes to Asian cuisine.

the reviews have been consistently average. Nothing outstanding and somewhat expensive.

But, like everything else, you won't know if you like it unless you try it. If it is one that you have been wanting to try, go for it! Let us know what you think

Ate there last month.

Apps are good. Main course and dessert are bland. The quality of the food is good. The decore is nice.

We will not be returning until they redo the menu.

BUT!!

Others may like or even love the place. If you have not been to it, give it a try. Then let us know what you think.

I seem to give opposite praise and criticism than everyone else, so keeping with that theme ....DH and I really enjoyed Yak & Yeti. We found the decor fun and interesting and we found the food to be great. There was a nice variety of things to choose from and one of the best appetizers on Disney property IMHO, the tempura green beans.

My meal was delicious and I especially liked the jasmine rice.....I had the fried shrimp. It was well prepared if not a little difficult to get off the skewer that it's served on and it had a tasty sauce for dipping. I believe our waiter offered other sauces if I wanted them.

We'll eat there again for sure.

We liked it a lot. Tried it a couple of weeks after opening. Themeing is wonderful! I had the Pho (so tasty and a whole lot of shrimp!) My fiance had the chicken lo mein and it was ok. Desert was the three sorbets, very good and great with the meal.

We would go back.

We at at Y&Y last month and loved it. We are DH, DD17 and me. We ordered the Dim Sum basket to share, then I ordered the house salad planning on sharing with DH who ordered the stir fried beef & broccoli and DD who ordered the crispy honey chicken. We then enjoyed the chocolate brownie sundae and the fried wonton dessert. Of everything we ordered, I thought the fried wonton dessert was the most disappointing. It was okay, but not up to the par with the rest of the meal. Even my DH said he would definitely return on our next trip in June to eat at Yak & Yeti. Try it for yourself!

Yak & Yeti was pretty good. It was decent Asian food. Definitely not the best I've had. I've had better in NYC & San Francisco. But considering it's a theme park restaurant, it is good.
