Who's camping?

We are going to be at FW starting Monday, October 4th, and checking out Wednesday, October 13th. We are camping in a class C Winnebago Minnie. Our site will be decorated with lots of Halloween stuff including the two newest additions-- 4 foot inflatible Halloween Tigger and Pooh and two large lighted inflated pumpkins. Feel free to stop by and say hi to:

Woohoo! We are leaving tomorrow night to check in on Friday, and we'll be there til the following Friday. Our 3 year old is ready to go even more than I am, and that's saying a lot! Hope to see you there!

I am leaving Oct 8 and staying till the 11th. Kids don't know we are going. We will be staying in one of the pet loops with my parents in their Motorhome a 40 foot Discovery. I am going to have my dd9, dd7, dd5 and dd3, so maybe I will see you at the playgrounds. Most likely the petting zoo as the 3 year old loves to feed the "silly goats and look for cockpeas (peacocks)!

campingcorgi, we'll definitely look for you! We'll (hopefully) be in loop 1400, (hopefully) near the comfort station, in a 30 ft. Prowler and large tent out back.

mrsgus, we'll just miss you, . But that is so cute about the cockpeas! On our last trip to FW in May our 3 year old called them twococks.

Campingcorgi we will miss you this trip. We're not leaving for a few weeks yet. Anyone from the boards will know it is you, by all your decorations. That is how we spotted you over Easter while riding our bikes. Hopefully you will have beautiful weather just like the last trip. Drive safe and have lots of fun!

Arriving late Friday afternoon...hopefully! My husband is getting off work at 5 am, we are dragging the kids to the Expedition and I will take over driving on I-10....and I have never pulled the camper before in my life. Good thing everyone will be sleeping!! It will be me-38, DH-37, DS-4, DS-7, nephew-10, niece-14. Not much to describe us. Just a bunch of country folk acting like we are tourist! Probably alot of yelling if my husband ticks me off during the ride!!

Wait Mom2bandp, I got the dates wrong . We will be there Thursday, Oct 7. Leaving Charleston about 11:30 and will be at FW hopefully in time for the sing a long! The three year old will be down there all week as she is leaving this Saturday with my parents..... oh to be three and not have to go to school . We told the older three girls that they are going back upstate. I have my wishes cd ready in the van and when I sign them out of school early on Thu., the song will come on and I will give them my "we are going to Disney smile", something like this . You will hear my van arrive long before I get to FW as the girls will be screaming the whole trip.

Holy Cow! We'll be there, too! DH and I are tent camping and it's our very first time to Fort Wilderness. We'll be there on the 12th and check out the 14th. Hope to meet all the DISer's. Will anyone wear a green ribbon? Any plans to meet (say at the marshmallow roast)?

I called them yesterday to put in a request for a loop..and to make sure they had the correct length for our TT ( 30 footer). I wanted to make sure the awning could be fully extended..

we are not staying in a preferred site just a full hook up site..
