I am. We rarely...meaning not even every year...buy a lottery ticket. More fun to fantasize than anything else. I've picked my own numbers and I'm not telling what they are.

Yesterday on the radio they said that if you are the only winner and take it in one payment it would be about $251 million AFTER taxes. I could live with that.
What I don't get is the lines that they were showing this morning on TV. Here you can go into any store and maybe there's a person or 2 in front of you. Are the ones with the lines wrapped around parking lots "lucky" stores that have sold multiple winning tickets?
I think DH is getting them through his work pool but double checking that. Between that & $5, we were in for 13 tries the other night so we'll probably play again for the next drawings til it's won.
I also entered some sweepstakes for home improvements recently. We calculate it would take about $100K to do what we want to our house - updating systems, windows, floors, fence, etc. Then money for the kids' college, retirement, a beach house & a lot of travel. I would be happy w/much less than the total winnings!
Haven't bought mine yet, but will before the deadline. I'm using the numbers that came up on my fortune cookie when we ate at our local Chinese restaurant last week. They're as lucky as any, I guess.
