8/24- 2 adults/2 kids , cat 6 = $3606, includes transfers and insurance
I just received an email from a TA that I had submitted a request to several months ago. And it came back better than the DCL quote I posted before. Our TA was able to get us SPH rooms 5524/5522 for a price of $3,918.15 for our family of 5.
That price includes port charges/fees, but not insurance or transfers. We do receive a $50 OBC. Does anyone know if Disney Visa is offering any credit if you use your card?
Looks like we'll be cruising on May 25, 2008.I am so excited.

Good luck to everyone else. And I look forward to seeing who we'll be cruising with. I just need to make sure I get that deposit in quickly!!!!

Yes it is rather disappointing that DCL essentially mandates that you have to take our kids out of school to secure a more reasonable rate. I can understand the premium for Christmas & Easter breaks but there are a lot of families that can only vacation during the summer. DCL of course is not the only destination/company that does this but the 2008 summer rates are out of control.
Hi Bren: It looks like we will be cruising with you on the 25th and we'll be neighbors!! We are in SPR 5022!! How old will your children be? We have two boy's who will be 5 and 3 1/2.

Booked 4 night double dip on 5/25
2 Adults/2 Kids (5 & 6)
Category 6
$3551.52 w/ins, no transfers (Includes 10% discount for rebooking onboard)
And yes, the price does seem high. As a matter of fact, it's $1000 more than the 4 night Category 4 we had booked for Sept., 2007.
It seems like there are quite a few of us on the 5/25 sailing. Has anyone started a cruise meet yet?

Our DD's will be 13 & 7
Ummm...it's supply and demand. people are willing (and even excited) to pay more than double what other cruiselines charge. Disney might be for families, but they aren't going to give us good rates just because they are nice. lol
We, too, booked the triple dip cruise.
Back-to-back Wonder August 17 4-night and August 21st 3-night.
I don't have the price details yet to post.
Hey, we need to come up with some kind of catchy slogan for the triple dip. Because not only is this a 3 times at Castaway Cay but its also TWO pirate nights.
So its a back-to-back with Captain Jack. Hmmmm I'm sure we can come up with all kinds of raunchy titles.
