Who's been to Akershus lately?

I'm trying to get a gauge of which girls appear at Akershus. We are hoping to knock out a good number of the princesses during our lunch so we can focus on finding other characters at WS.

All of the princesses except Cindy are there. I've also seen Alice and Mary Poppins there as well.

We were there at the end of February.. Belle was greeting guests while Ariel, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella were making the rounds of the restaurant.

We were there in January for breakfast. We saw Belle in the lobby, then Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White and Cinderella came to our table.

We were just there on 3/26 and we saw Belle in her yellow dress signing autographs and taking pictures at the door while Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Aeriel in her ball gown came to our table....this was during breakfast.

We were there on St Patrick's Day for lunch - Belle was in the lobby, Cindy, Aurora, Snow White and Ariel (yay!) came around.

DD was SO happy to see Ariel with her legs.

Its the only one I found disappointing.The waitress was murdy if not downright rude.My kids were so excited and she had no time for them!

I totally agree with you. We've been there twice and were not impressed. Service was not great and the princesses barely stopped by for a picture. We might go back in a few years especially if the new little one is another little girl, but we're in no rush to go back. Plus we were not really all that impressed with dinner, but really liked the cold board offerings and dessert was also good. We said we would try it again in a few years for breakfast.

I was there at the end of Sept for lunch and had Belle greeting, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White & Ariel. I think that is more the "standard" at Akershus recently.

Last June, this was our favorite meal of the 8 day trip.

We saw Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and Ariel. All princesses took their time wih our 2 year old Princess.

Service and food were excellent!

Booked again for Breakfast on June 13th. Can't wait.

My daughter loved it, but I thought the food was awful. I mean truly horrid. And I'm pretty easy to please.

She saw Belle in the lobby, and Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Aurora made the rounds. As another poster mentioned, they don't spend much time with the kids. It was probably the shortest character interactions of any of the character meals I've taken her to.

I could have wrote the same things about our recent breakfast (well other than the new baby part). It was not good but we knocked out seeing most of the princesses in one meal so I must confess that I would do it again.

But we saw Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White in late February. Mulan was over in China and Jasmine and Aladdin were over in Morocco.

We loved it. The princesses were Belle for photos, Jasmin, Mulan Aurora and Mary Poppins. They were all great apart from Jasmin who seemed very timid.

The food was ok, preferred the cold bar to the plated food.

Just ate there for lunch 3 weeks ago. This is DD's fav, so we have eaten here for lunch or dinner at least 6 times in the last 3 years!

Currently, Belle seems to be the hostess, as we now have 4 photos with her. As for who we saw the other day: Snow White, Aurora, Mulan, Ariel and Cinderella.

We have always had Cinderella, and one time, we were sent out a secret character: Lady Jane from Tarzan!

Are you saying you didn't see Cinderella on your trip?

The way you have it written is in present tense, as if you are making a blanket statement that Cinderella is never there. As I just posted, we have been there 6 times in 3 years, for both lunch and dinner, and we have always seen Cinderella in attendance.

Just wanted to clear this up, should people think that Cinderella does not appear here, because she usually does, in our vast experience with this restaurant.

Hmm... for some reason not all of my multi-quotes popped up... oh well... for all of you who said the food is awful... THANKS FOR THE WARNING!!! If anything I can blame the quality of the food on it being "foreign". DH has never really eaten anything other than Mexican, American, Thai, and Chinese (it's all we get around here...)
