Who's at the Contemporary right now?

We leave in THREE days!!!! Tell me what I need to know! How is the weather, the crowds, the resort??? I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not there, however the main pool is closed for renovation and it's been cold there the past weeks when I read the Orlando Sentinal website.

We arrived yesterday, & the crowds are pretty good. Splash Mountain was closed awhile today, & when it reopened it was a 40 min wait. Thunder Mountain had a pretty long wait too. I am hoping that tomorrow, it will thin out even more. The contemporary seemed busy today, we were upgraded to the atrium club , so we are on the 12th floor & the elevator took about 15 mintues to take us down today. The main pool was open today, it looked like the quiet pool close to the water was the only area closed. I am not sure when they are going to close the main pool.

The weather was great today. It was cold this morning, but when the sun came out it felt great. We wore shorts & short sleeves, you will need a light jacket at night maybe even pants.

Thanks so much!!! I was so excited when I found out they gave us a upgrade. This is the 1st time we have ever gotten one. We were booked for the garden wing, so I was so glad when they moved us to the tower. Especially the atrium club, the nightly desserts have been fabulous

Congrats on the upgrade! We are heading to the CR tomorrow Tower MK view room. How are the crowds and weather? We get in late tomorrow night, our flight isnt til 6:40...going to be a long day tomorrow lol.

Congrats on the upgrade! We are heading to the CR tomorrow Tower MK view room. How are the crowds and weather? We get in late tomorrow night, our flight isnt til 6:40...going to be a long day tomorrow lol.

When we were walking in the MK today it did not seem really crowded, but some of the rides did have pretty long lines. We did go on POC with a 5 minute wait, the line to see the princesses in Mickeys toon town was only 15 min's, Haunted mansion was only about 10 min's & small world had a 10 min wait. We really did not do to much today, because I thought it would get even better tomorrow. Splash MTN had a 40 min wait, & Big Thunder was about the same. Dumbo & peter pan was about 45 min's, & this was all around 2pm. The weather is great, but I would bring a light jacket for the evening. My kids swam today & they were not cold at all.

We ended up with Bay Lake, but I am definitely not complaining I was just so thrilled to get all the extra goodies . My DH has really enjoyed all the beer, and evening drinks.

I also want to know same. Some of my friends will have a trip next week and asking me about it since I'm addicted here. I hope, less crowd so that all of you will totally enjoy your vacation.

Thanks so much for the update...thinking I might throw in bathing suits....debating. It sounds really good....I'm sure the beginning of this week will be really great with crowds. I am assuming as the weekend gets closer it will get more crowded especially due to overflow from SuperBowl who might make a 4 day weekend of it. But regardless....it all sounds great....sending my son off for his final exams...and then we will be off after he is done.

We had a Tower Bay room last year. It was really nice...and very peaceful we thought looking over the lake and pool. Glad you are having a great time.

Thanks BlueSkies we also watched the EWP, the kids got a big kick out of that. I am enjoying every minute of being in the World I think my DH is going to have a hard time dragging me out of here on Saturday.
