i can't control my excitement, so i had to post. I just got back from bringing the kids to school and gas was $2.98!!!

Yeah, yeah, I know it isn't going to last. But I plan to live it up while it's here

I just filled up in NJ for $2.89. But I saw many of the other staions are between 2.99-3.19

ugh! I have to say I am jealous, here in my part of NC we are having trouble just finding stations that have gas! When we do, it is 3.89-3.79.

On a side note...how sad is it that we're all thrilled gas is under $3. Sad!

No, I didnt . In another thread someone near me reported gas around 2.76. When that happens i'll be filling everything I can find!!

WOW! In my part of NYS, it's still about $3.50/gallon. We're usually one of the lesser expensive areas of the state, too. I hope we see a drop like that.

My brother is WAY upstate NY and it always seems he will see the drop about 2 weeks after I do. But his still remains higher.
I hope yours comes down soon!!
